Bill Murray Talks ‘Ghostbusters 3’

At the recent premiere for ‘Fantastic Mr. Fox’ Bill Murray was asked what he thought about ‘Ghostbusters 3’ becoming a reality. Murray was less than enthusiastic stating, “I’ll believe it when I see it.”

According to Murray, he hasn’t even seen a script and when asked about not wanting to do another ‘Ghostbusters’ movie in the past he said, “I don’t want to do it yet. There’s still not a script. It’s just a bunch of talk. It’s a wish list for somebody. I’m not going to make one just to make another one.”

Murray also said that he is apprehensive about doing it because sequels are so hard to make as good as the original. He said that he as has only done 2 sequels in his life (‘Ghostbusters 2’ and ‘Garfield 2’) and neither worked out very well.

This might be bad news for ‘Ghostbusters’ fans hoping for another film.
