Penelope Cruz ‘Pirates’ Role Revealed

It had already been confirmed that Penelope Cruz would be in the next ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ movie. Now executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer has revealed the role she’ll be playing stating, “She’s the daughter of the bad guy. She brings a lot of humor to it. And the fact that she’s so feisty.”

Blackbeard, played by Ian McShane, is the chief villain in Pirates of the ‘Caribbean: On Stranger Tides’. While he was in a giving mood, Bruckheimer also mentioned that there were plans for a “little romance between Captain Jack and the character that Penelope plays.”
