Jolie Leaves ‘Wanted 2’

It’s being reported that Angelina Jolie has pulled out of ‘Wanted 2’ and rather than recast her role, Universal is scrapping the movie completely. Jolie is currently filming ‘The Tourist’ in Paris, and is expected now to star in ‘Gravity’ for director Alfonso Cuaron (Children of Men) as her next project. Jolie will apparently be alone on-screen for much of ‘Gravity’, playing the sole surviving human member of a space mission.

Timur Bekmambetov was set to direct ‘Wanted 2’ from a script by Evan Spiliotopoulos. James McAvoy was also set to return as Wesley Gibson.
