Tim Robbins Joins ‘The Green Lantern’

According to reports, Tim Robbins has joined the cast of ‘The Green Lantern’. Robbins will play Senator Hammond. Senator Hammond is the disapproving father of the movie’s villain, Dr. Hector Hammond, played by Peter Sarsgaard. The movie starts filming in March down in New Orleans, and has a June 17th, 2011 release date. Ryan Reynolds stars as Green Lantern, with Blake Lively playing Carol Ferris, his love interest.
