Gremlins 3? In 3D?

It is being reported that the third installment of the ‘Gremlins’ franchise could be in 3D. As of now it is considered a rumor, but the talk of Gremlins 3 has been around for years, and Joe Dante, the director of the first two Gremlins films, is about to release ‘The Hole’, which is his first time working in 3D.
