Hugh Hefner Wants Robert Downey Jr. to Play Him

Although there are currently no solid plans for one, Hugh Hefner knows who he wants to play him in a biopic: Robert Downey Jr.

Director Brett Ratner wanted to get Hefner’s approval on a potential actor before going any further with a potential biopic, and sat down with Downey Jr. and Hef to discuss it. Since the meeting, Hefner has been nagging Downey about the role whenever they see each other, including at the premiere of ‘Iron Man 2’ a couple of weeks ago.

Ratner agrees with the casting idea and thinks that Downey would do it, if the script was right. That could be a challenge, as there’s a lot to tell in the life story of Hefner.
