‘The Crow’ Reboot Update

Edward Pressman, who is producing the new ‘The Crow’ film, said today that the screenplay is complete and production is expected to start this year.

Pressman added that the film will be set in a small town in the Southwest, as well as in a larger city. No star is currently attached to the project, but Pressman says he has made an offer to “a major actor.”

The film is a reboot of ‘The Crow’ franchise, with a few changes. Pressman spoke about one such change, talking about the Crow itself. He calls it “a creature… it’s not just a bird. It’s got a personality and a character. Not like Godzilla exactly, but it’s very different [and has] a more active role in the story.”
