Brett Ratner to Re-imagine ‘Snow White’

According to reportts, Brett Ratner and Relativity Media are planning a live action update of Snow White. Melisa Wallack (Bill) will write the script, which will be an edgy and comedic look at the original Brothers Grimm story. Ratner, who will produce, had the following to say on the film, “This is not your grandfather’s ‘Snow White.’ His dwarves were miners, and here they are robbers. There is also a dragon that was in the original folk tale. Ours is edgy and there is more comedy. The original, made for its time, was soft compared to what we’re going to do.”
