‘Saw 3D’ To End Series

According to reports, Lionsgate, producers and star Tobin Bell will announce on Friday at Comic-Con that ‘Saw 3D’ will be the final installment in the franchise. ‘Saw 3D’ will open on October 29th, and stars Cary Elwes, Costas Mandylor, Betsy Russell and Sean Patrick Flanery. Producer Oren Koules has the following to say about the film, “It’s time to stop. We have told the story we wanted to tell, and this is going to be a great farewell.”

According to a report, the movie was submitted and re-edited six times to the MPAA in order to get the movie down to an R rating. Producer Mark Burg added, “It’s more violent than any of them. But it’s in 3-D, it answers all the questions, it comes full circle. We have the goods on this one.”

  1. I cannot wait! Submitted six times, I would have liked to see the original piece!i know the doctor who survived in one is coming back, I wonder how they’ll work that out. Great way to end the series of Saw movies….in 3D!
