Joel McHale Joins ‘Spy Kids 4’

Joel McHale (Community) is joining the cast of ‘Spy Kids 4’. McHale will play a spy hunting reporter and the husband of Jessica Alba’s character, who happens to be a spy who gets reactivated. Robert Rodriguez will write and direct the film, which begins shooting soon in Austin, TX for an August 19th, 2011 release date.

Antonio Banderas, Alexa Vega and Daryl Sabara, the stars of the first three films, are expected to appear in the fourth film in cameo roles.
