Nominations for the 62nd Annual Emmy Awards were announced this morning, and ‘Glee’ and ‘Mad Men’ took the lead in nominations. 5 out of the 12 nominated drama and comedies are first-time nominees and newcomers. We’ve got the official breakdown for you below.

    Best Comedy Series – Curb Your Enthusiasm

    Best Actor, Comedy – Jim Parsons (Big Bang Theory)

    Best Supporting Actress, Comedy – Kristen Wiig (SNL)

    Best Guest Actress – Betty White (SNL)

  2. I’d love to see Jim Parsons get it for BBT…. I think he should have got it last year. 🙂

    And I’d be SHOCKED if Betty White didn’t get it for SNL!

  3. Why wasn’t Treme on HBO nominated? Was it too late in the season. It certainly was an excellent series.

  4. Treme did get 2 nominations actually. Outstanding directing for a drama series and Outstanding Original Music And Lyrics. I haven’t seen it but I’ve heard good things about it. Surprised it didn’t pick up more noms.
