No 3-D for Newest Harry Potter Movie

Warner Bros. has released a statement confirming that there will not be a 3-D version of ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1.’

The official statement reads as follows: “Despite everyone’s best efforts, we were unable to convert the film in its entirety and meet the highest standards of quality. We do not want to disappoint fans who have long-anticipated the conclusion of this extraordinary journey, and to that end, we are releasing our film day-and-date on Nov. 19, 2010 as planned,” the statement said.

But for fans wanting to see the magic in 3D, the studio also went on to say that they will release the second part of the movie, due out July 15, 2011, in 2-D and 3-D on both regular screens and IMAX.

Let the magic begin!
