A ‘Scandal’ Clothing Line is Coming Our Way Thanks to Kerry Washington and The Limited

Actress Kerry Washington has co-designed a clothing collection inspired by her hit TV drama Scandal.

Youu read correctly! Kerry has teamed up with the show’s costume designer Lyn Paolo to develop pieces inspired by lead character Olivia Pope’s signature wardrobe.

The actress says, “By creating a line inspired by the show, we are introducing a collection that embodies the elegance and power of the Scandal aesthetic for real-life gladiators and everyday fashionistas.

The collection is a nod to our devoted fans, to fans of fashion and to women everywhere who are inspired to boldly pursue their passions and look good while doing it.”

According to Women’s Wear Daily, The Limited’s CEO Diane Ellis is also very excited to bring the line to the public stating ,

“Her character represents a confident, powerful, but real and kind of vulnerable woman. Our sophisticated professional can really relate to that. She’s dealing with crisis, scandal and a life that is very complex and challenging, not maybe to the extent [as Olivia]. I don’t think our typical client is having a relationship with the president. But she’s dealing with her own version of complexity and juggling a young family at home and perhaps a career. The appeal is at the same time she always looks fabulous.”

The collection will be available in The Limited retail stores and online shop starting September 22nd.
