Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer Enter Production Deal With HBO

Actress Anna Paquin and her husband Stephen Moyer, known for their roles on the long-running HBO  hit-show True Blood, have solidified their HBO royalty statuses by entering into a new production deal with the network.

The real-life couple’s seventh and final season of True Blood will kick off on June 22, but they will extend their partnership with HBO with a new deal via their production company CASM, which launched in 2012 with producing partners Cerise Hallam Larkin and Mark Larkin, also a married couple.

Paquin and Moyer have signed a two-year contract in which they will develop shows, films and mini-series for HBO, with the possibility for both actors to star and direct in any project, marking CASM’s first time delving into the television side of the industry, with the focus thus far having been feature films.

CASM has a number of other projects in development as well, including an adaptation of Martin Millar’s Lonely Werewolf Girl; Columbia, written by and to star Denis O’Hare which Moyer will direct; and Pink Hotel, based on the novel by Anna Stothard which Paquin will write and direct, to name a few.
