For fans of THE TWILIGHT SAGA, "nothing will be the same," as Summit Entertainment and Creation Entertainment bring The Official TWILIGHT Fan Convention to the Houston area Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 30, May 1, and 2. This special weekend will take place at the Marriott Charlotte Executive Park.
The Official TWILIGHT Fan Convention will offer attendees the unique opportunity to involve themselves in all aspects of THE TWILIGHT SAGA. This three-day gathering will feature on-stage appearances by TWILIGHT celebrities, exclusive footage screenings, panel discussions, TWILIGHT themed parties, musical performances, costume and trivia competitions, auctions, autographing, merchandising, and photo opportunities, TWILIGHT merchandise and more.
Special on-stage appearances by TWILIGHT stars will include: On Friday only, PETER FACINELLI (Dr. Carlisle Cullen) ; on Saturday only, MICHAEL WELCH (Mike Newton) and CHRISTOPHER HEYERDAHL (Marcus of The Volturi); and on Sunday only, TINSEL KOREY (Emily).
Hosting this weekend's show will be Hannah and Hilly Hindi and guests from the The Hillywood Show, a YouTube hit who are known for their hilarious spoofs from various movies. They will also be performing skits, posing for photos and adding to the weekend of fun! The major online TWILIGHT fan websites, including www.twilightlexicon.com and www.twilightMOMS.com, will be participating with special presentations on stage.
EXCLUSIVE to The Official TWILIGHT Convention Tour 2010: At all our stops in 2010 we'll be screening our super-exclusive interviews with the cast of NEW MOON! We have footage with Rob, Kristen, Taylor, Dakota, Michael Sheen, the entire Wolf Pack, The Cullens, and more! And, we're asking the questions that YOU want to hear answered, in fact many of the questions came from our audience!
The fun will be kicked up a notch with evening functions including a Friday night Karaoke Concert featuring a special performance by Michael Welch and hosted by PETER FACINELLI, and a Saturday Night Vampire Ball where attendee can dress in their finest vampire attire and dance the night away. A separate ticket is required for both events.
BREAKFAST WITH THE TWILIGHT STARS AND CHARTIY AUCTION: On Sunday, fans will have the opportunity to enjoy a delightful time with TINSEL KOREY! A continental breakfast will be served. The breakfast will have limited attendance to allow a casual and fun atmosphere for all and also give the chance to our guests to get to meet our attendee in a more informal atmosphere. A seperate ticket is required for this event.
General admission tickets are available in advance through www.twilightconvention.com and at the door for $25 for Friday and $30 for Saturday and for Sunday. General Admission tickets to the Friday evening concert are $15 for general admission tickets, those to the Saturday Night Vampire Ball are $89, and those to the Breakfast with the Twilight Stars are $99.
