New mum NICOLE RICHIE is selling off the vintage Halston gown she wore to her ill-fated 2005 engagement party.

The size 0 dress will be on show at the Fisch for The Hip consignment store in New York, where fashion experts expect it to sell for $3,000 (GBP1,500).

The famous Jimmy Choo shoes SARAH JESSICA PARKER's SEX AND THE CITY character lost on a ferry in an episode of the cult TV show in a 2000 episode have been brought out of the closet.

The feather-look strap heels were discontinued some years ago but Jimmy Choo founder and designer Tamara Mellon has put them back on store shelves to mark the release of Sex And The City: The Movie.

Mellon admits she owes a lot to the TV series, and was shocked when Parker's Carrie Bradshaw helped establish her shoes brand on the show.

The former best friend of Paris Hilton, Kardashian will auction off Jimmy Choo boots, Chanel bags and various designer dresses and accessories to raise cash for the Dream Foundation, which grants wishes to the terminally ill.

Kardashian will also take a winning bidder out for lunch and a shopping spree at her DASH store in Calabasas, California.

MADONNA's Chanel handbag sold for almost half a million dollars at a charity auction at the Cannes Film Festival on Thursday (22May08).

The pop superstar handed over the black alligator-skin diamond bag she had taken to the amFar Cinema Against Aids benefit in the French resort, complete with most of its contents, including lip gloss "that actually touched my lips"; lip balm; a mirror and throat lozenges.

She removed her two cell phones, insisting, "I'm not going to give up my Blackberry and phone because that's too expensive for you."

The former The O.C. star has created a range inspired by "vintage" designs she has discovered while traveling the world.
