I'm going with the 60's. Remember there was very little post-production. You're hearing pure talent. My second choice would be the 70's but I'm not fond of disco however I respect Donna Summer as a musician. Almost of her tracks are first takes. She rarely had to re-record. She personally caused the career demise of Georgio Moroder because he expected other artists to be as talented and consistent as Donna.
