I agree that it's not as good as the original, but then again I never expected it to be since I've been a fan of the original series for years now, but I do like the new show a lot now. I first watched it when it premiered because I was curious to see what they'd come up with and because Shannen Doherty (who I love) was returning. I ended up getting into it, although I do think some of the episodes of the first season got to be a little ridiculous with the over-the-top drama. I'm really liking the current season though. I missed a lot of the episode when they first came on because I was really busy but I recently downloaded the season pass on itunes, so now i'm all caught up and i'm really enjoying this season. I think I prefer it over the first season

Jenny Garth's role seems so pointless right now. But it is a paycheck for Jenny. Guess Luke feels like he doesn't need it.

Yeah, it is. I heard Jason was saying no at first, but then changed his mind. I don't know if he actually will make an appearance or not though. Unless he already did?! LOL. I haven't been able to keep up with this show.

No Jason hasn't made a appearance in front of the camera. He did direct at least one episode.
