Talk about our favorite stay at home mom who loves her children even though they drive her crazy.

I love Felicity :) she was great in Frasier too :) the part in the second episode where she left the kids on the side of the road was too funny :)

I think Felicity's a great actress! It's so funny seeing her struggle with her kids, for example when she left them on the side of the road. And it was also funny in the last ep when she used her son to get her into yoga, lol.

She's perfect for the role. She's got a genuine warmth that one has to have when they have four kids.

Lynette is my fav. maybe because i always go for the underdog...but she goes through so much with her kids, and her husband isn't much help, and she sacrified her career and dream for her family, and she tries her best to be a good mother.
Sure she's got some controlling issues, but it's is totally understandable with all those 3 adorable little monsters she has to raise practically by herself.
I think Felicity is a talented actress, and she portrays the role of Lynette Extremely well, an Career woman turned into a housewoman and having a hard time figuring it all out. She doesn't even have time to pamper herself and be sexy like the other women, because her kids take up all her time, and if she was to clean up, her kid would mess her up the next minute.
She's really stressed, she needs more help and her husband needs to be a lil more considerate. I thought it was priceless in the pilot, when she told her husband to put on a condom, and he told her 'let's risk it' and she smacked the crap out of him. Hell i would have done the same thing. :D LOL She already has 4 kids under the of 7 to take care of, and he wants to risk getting her pregnant once more and having one more to take care of by herself.

I love Lynette! She is a great mother, even though she has three little brats and a baby to look after. She looked so glamourous in the fashion show episode.

She does seem the most real, doesn't she? I think its the fact she is a stay at home mother with four kids and a husband to look after.

She gets frazzled easily, but gets back on track with ease.

^^Well, it is their first season, and Everybody Loves Raymond's last, so I can see why they gave the Emmy to Raymond. Congrats though to Felicity for her Emmy! Well deserved, and very surprised...I thought it was gonna be Teri Hatcher! :bgrin:

Exactly my sentiments! I was really hoping for Lauren Graham but she wasn't even nominated. DH should have been in the Drama category, it's not a comedy.

Lynette was really good last night when she told off Tom's daughter's mother,I can't remember her name. I loved it when she did that,she totally deserved it she needs to stay away from Tom. I can see why Lynette would have reservations about Tom opening a pizza place that's a big risk,but I guess somtimes in life you have to take risk to succeed.
I am happy she came around to see Tom's point of view.

I read in my local newspaper that in the finale there are two weddings (I'm assuming Gabby and Susan) and adultery, which sounds like it'll be Lynette...

I hope that it's not her, especially because of what she did at the end of the last season when she thought that Tom cheated on her!

I really like Tom. He seems like a great guy, but the fact that he was becoming so jealous of Rick was annoying. It was obvious that he liked Lynette, but he should have trusted his wife, and in the end, Lynette didn't do anything with Rick.

I wonder how Lynette having cancer will affect her character and her relationship with Tom. I still can't believe that she hasn't told her friends yet!

Felicity Huffman is a brilliant actress. i never doubted this but when i saw 'Transamerica' this thought got reinforced a ten fold. she was fantastic in the movie, i did'nt even recognize her at first. she does a great job as Lynette, shes so great as a mom.

I think Felicity is a great actress too. She does an amazing job playing lynette on DH. I'm a fan of her husband too.
