A self-professed animal lover, Simon was on the lookout for dogs in parked cars even before he did the PSA for PETA.

It only takes a few minutes for temperatures to rise to dangerous levels inside parked cars, even on mildly warm days with the windows down. On a 78-degree day, the temperature inside a shaded car is 90 degrees, while the inside of a car parked in the sun can reach 160 degrees in a matter of minutes. I'm sorry if anyone has asked this before, but have you guys been watching Hey Paula? After seeing what her schedule is like, I think her being incoherent might just be from sleep deprivation. If I only slept 1 hour a night like she does, I might act loopy too.

P.S. I'm kind of sorry Hey Paula only lasted 7 episodes. I found it a lot more entertaining than most reality shows out there. The Soup had a field day with Paula's breakdown after being fired from the Bratz movie.
I still think she seems like a nice person but she really needs a vacation.

Maybe they should change the prize to $$$ and save the record contract they offer for special cases, though, since Taylor and Ruben just got dropped from their label and neither Jordin nor Blake have sold all that much since their albums came out.

But I've watched every year since it started and I'm hooked. This year's contestants look interesting so far. :popcorn:

I always look forward to the final talent, I just have a hard time about contestants that have AWFUL performances, and they audition anyway. (What's more irritating is when they DON'T GET that they are REALLY BAD and get angry for being eliminated. Apparently they don't have any friends that would tell them the truth BEFORE they audition.)

My thoughts exactly....but we haven't seen everyone that has gotten through either....i always try to watch idol rewind when i see it on to try to see some of the past winners at auditions and see how good they were there...i tend to forget its a process and they all get better

I love AI, but I can't watch the whole thing on Wednesdays because of America's next top model. It always happens, and I hate it.

They do have some amazing talent (especially some of the girls) this season. I like the two little chicks...I can't remember their names. I think one is Ramielle and the other is the one that her dad died. I also like the young guy with the black hair that had a paralyzed vocal cord, man I can't remember anybody's name yet.

after the last week i think the best right now is the aussie guy...he's got a lot of confidence up there...i see him being the daughtry of this year....doesn't mean he'll win it though...the cool thing for me this year is that there is no one i'm rooting against at this point...sometimes some of the people get annoying...but we'll see after we get to know them better...

Archuleta is definitely the front-runner, but I think David Hernandez is great, and Chikezie did very well last night. I think the guys are better than the girls this year.

I have to say that I love Danny Noriega. He has such a nice voice and an incredibly cute personality and he's completely adorable. I don't care if people say he's gay or something, I love Danny!

Yesterdays vote was right on the money! Although that girl can have a powerful voice when she decides to use it - she rarely does use it. Just like the guy with dreads - I have to really push up the volume when then sing.
