i voted for jess. i didn't get to see a lot of logan b/c in my country the 5season is airing from september on.. but except for logan (unknown for me) jest is the best choice for rory, they match each other perfectly- both are intelligent and get along really well, plus they have a lot of chemistry- i mean they had until the dissappointing story twist at the end of season3.. they will always be pefrect for me so that's why i voted for jess:)

I simply cannot imagine Rory, who will eventually graduate from Yale, marrying a man who cannot finish high school!! So far, Logan is the best match, unless she continues down this self-destruction path she's on right now. I assume Rory's just on a short detour from her life goal. Then again, she could parallel her mother's life somewhat and end up discovering her true love is Marty, who quietly waits for her to notice him, just as Lorelai did with Luke.

I think Logan's life is a bit more detailed than Jess's, which is amazing considering that Rory is his only tie to the storyline. Through him we have met at least 7 new characters, with their own purposes and motives. Thats something we never had with Jess. All Jess brought to the show was Liz, TJ, Jimmy and Sasha.

Logan has brought Colin, Finn, Juliet, Rosemary, Mitchum, Shira, and Elias. And the last three equal lots of drama.

Well, Miss Lionesse, I'm not a Rory/Dean fan either, but when you say they have nothing in common, I don't think it matters it they do. I think it's the DIFFERENCES that make a relationship so beautiful. If a couple has everything in common then you can't learn anything from that person, and you could probably get bored with that person very easily. My parents are nothing like each other, and they've been married for 22 years. And in fact, the couple that is my #1 ship are nothing like each other at all, and that would be Brucas.(Lucas/Brooke, for any of you who don't know.) But I love them anyways.

I chose Jess. There's simply something about him that just makes me love him. He's sarcastic, witty, intelligent, and gorgeous as can be; he can be the largest jackass in the world, yet at the same time he can be a total sweetie. He never treated Rory like she was perfect; like she was little, miss 'Town Princess'. He was the one who knocked some sense into her. He wasn't afraid to yell at her and tell her how it is. While Logan stood by and let Rory change into someone she's not, Jess came in and reminded her of who she really is. He knows her, knows who she's meant to be, and he didn't want her to lose that.

One of my biggest problems with Logan is that he bitches and moans about how his father already laid out his path; working for his company, etcetera, etcetera. Jess, well his life was pretty much crap. He lived in a shitty apartment, didn't graduate high school, probably had a crappy job, and who knows what else. But you wanna know what? He did something about it. He didn't bitch and moan and settle for what life had to offer him. He grew some balls and turned his life around. And now? Now he's a published author with a steady job and a house. What did Logan do? Absolutely nothing. He didn't tell his father 'Hey, I don't want to do this'. He didn't try to break away from his father's world. And he doesn't even bother taking any blame for the fact that he supposedly has no choice in the matter. He let his life be chosen for him, and that is his fault and his fault only.

Most people say that Jess isn't right for Rory because he treated her like crap. Well I agree, he did treat her like crap. BUT rewatch season 2, or Happy Birthday, Baby, Eight O'Clock at the Oasis, Let the Games Begin, and others beside thoughs. Yes, their relationship was no where near perfect, but it wasn't all bad. No one can say that Jess didn't genuinely care for Rory, because he did. But come on, between being abandoned at birth by your father and then being shipped off to your own version of hell by your mother you're gonna have some problems. We all know that Jess has a bad past, we just don't know what it is. Whatever it was, it was probably pretty hard to deal with. Add a girlfriend, flunking high school, and your missing father showing up and it's gotta be pretty hard. Yes he screwed up royally, and many times at that. He's only human though and people make mistakes. I'm not condoning how he treated Rory or how he left without a good bye, I'm just saying that his life wasn't perfect so he shouldn't be expected to be also. And honestly, Rory wasn't always the best girlfriend either.

Jess and Rory could have been awesome together. They had similarities: books, music, etc. They had differences: good girl, bad boy. They bantered, flirted, and fought. She went to New York by herself to see him. He came back 4 times for her. And was it not totally adorable when he was throwing stones at her window in 6.08? I love the way they interact with one another. I love the way he looks at her and always puts his arm around her when they're walking. The way he smiles at her. AS-P had the chance to make them amazing but she decided to ruin it and instead give Milo his own show. He walked his mother down the aisle at her wedding, I mean how adorable was that. I love Jess simply because of all the potential he has to be so wonderful.

Yes Jess is not perfect, nor will he ever be. He is a truly interesting character though, one who I think would be good with Rory. If only they could get past the problems they had before. He can challenge her, and she him. As you can see from 6.08 and probably 6.18, Jess has changed. He has matured, grown up, and knows what he's doing with his life. Some people's problem with Jess is that he wasn't stable, not like Logan is. Well he is now. Though he's changed, he's still the same Jess that all us Lits fell in love with. He's still witty, still sweet, and still a bad boy; he's just even better now.

And honestly, no offence to Matt or anything, but Milo is way hotter. Not to mention that Milo and Alexis look much better together than Alexis and Matt.

Of course, these are simply my opinions and I don't expect people to agree with me. I just thought I'd share them with you. I respect your opinions and I hope that you respect mine as well.

I'm having a lot of trouble here because I like all of them. Except Dean that is. Dean cheated on his wife and was just so wishy washy about her that he can not be the one that is best for our Rory.

Jess and Logan, are cut from the same mold really. Yes Jess is a poor underachiever, and Logan is rich and must have done something to get into Yale. However- both of them are to some extent 'bad boys'. They don't care what other people think and they like to cause trouble. Yes, there are a lot of differences, but there are a lot of similarities as well. I think the question is only which one of them cares most about Rory and which one therefore can turn their life around enough to be faithful to Rory and take care of her. When she started dating Logan, Jess was nowhere to be seen. He was still the 'bad boy' while Logan promised to turn his life around for her. Now, Jess has turned his life around, Logan hasn't. I think that Rory deserves someone she can count on, and it's still unclear who that person will be. Perphaps neither of the two will manage to work things out and she'll have to get a good boy- like Marty. :)

Jess did treat Rory bad at times, but he did care about her genuinely, and he screwed it up. He changed his life and is so much more mature. He has a path and a direction. If anything I think that Rory doesnt deserve him now. She became something she isnt. Logan is just someone I see her having fun with for a temporary amount of time, I cant picture them together in the long run and especially after all the fights they have had. Jess was 17 or 18 when he was with Rory, Logan is in college and is way less mature than Jess is.

Jess and Rory have common interests in books, music, and they even have a career in the same area. I just see them being able to be together again and lasting

Yes, but none of rory's boyfriends have been good for Rory.Dean was good the first time around, except for the whole jelously thing, but the second time,he brought out the worst part of Rory by making her an adultrist.

And for heavens sake, Logan cheated on her, apparently numerous times.Call it miscommunication, but when its not set in stone that your broken up, then you have no right to cheat on your girlfriend.Period.He's also helped her become this person that she wasn't before, a trophy wife of some kind.

I used to think Dean was the perfect boy for Rory, but not anymore. Dean was never really prefect for Rory because he was to perfect. Jess VS Logan is harder for me to decide on because I love both of them with Rory. I used to hate Logan in S5, I didn't think he fitted with her at all, but after S6 I changed my mind, Logan is the boy Rory need(beside the cheating part), but more importantly Rory is the girl Logan needs.
Jess and Rory was a awesome couple while they were on their best, I also loved them in S6, Jess has become a decent guy. And the chemesty Alexis and Milo have is better than any of the other boys Rory has ever dated.

Marty is nice, but boring. Rory likes bad boys.

My vote went for Logan, first off, yeah he was a none commitment guy, but if he changed that just to be with Rory, to me that said no matter what struggles might lie ahead that they are meant to be together in the end. Besides Logan's cute and really sweet to Rory, Logan shares a connected with Rory that I don't think Dean, Jess or Tristan could even begin to understand even appreciate. Meant to be together and it being easy aren't the same, even the prefect relationship, like Luke and Lorelai's will always face obsctles, through right now Rory and Logan's relationship's in a much better place then Luke and Lorelai's.

well I was a big lit before, like very big LIT!!!
but then...when I saw the episode, the confrontation between Logan and Jess last season, well let's say my opinion slightly deviated....
it's just that Jess is so much small compared to Logan. Logan seems to have more character and more understanding then Jess. and Rory needs someone who is exactly like Lorelai. They just have such a big connection. Besides, they both have the same interest. they can work together at the same company.

I've kinda gone along with Rory's boyfriend...I liked Dean and then when Jess showed up, I like him more...and then when Logan showed up, I liked him even more. I think its been good for Rory to have each relationship at the stage she had them at. For me, I think Jess did a huge U-Turn character wise from the end of S4 to his reappearance in S6 (I know, I know it happens) but it was a little too more of a character change. I liked him as the bad boy (not the ass in S4, but the bad boy S2/S3).

I do think Logan is a better match for her, at least for now.
