View Full Version : Lindsay Lohan Goes "Indie"
<img src="http://www.fanbolt.com/blog/Nov2005/lohan.jpg" width="85" height="85" vspace="5" hspace="5" align="left" border="0" alt="Herbie!">Reportedly, Lindsay Lohan will be co-starring opposite Jared Leto in an independent film about the murder of John Lennon. These days, it seems, everyone's taking a dip in the indie pool so why not? Could her role have anything to do with her and Leto's sectret romance? Methinks that is the case.
Reports also indicate that her and Leto were getting friendly on Leto's tour bus a couple of years ago, and more recently have been seen kickin' it around New York clubs- some of Lohan's friends claim her and leto may be ready to tell the world how they feel about each other.
Seems like an unlikely couple to me. Leto, of 'My So-Called Life' fame, who, more recently, played Harry, a guy spiraling into the abyss of a herion addiction in Darren Aronofsky's 'Requiem for a Dream' (if you haven't seen this already, do yourself a favor and check it out) hooking it up with the teen princess? We will see...

I wouldn't call it all that unlikely. For all Jared Leto's grungy affectations, he seems to have quite the taste for arm candy. Remember, when Cameron Diaz dumped him and started dating Justin Timberlake, Jared Leto was spotted out partying with Britney.
I think Lindsay is just trying to build a better name for herself as an actress. Supposedly, she got a taste for "real" movies, working with Meryl Streep on "A Prairie Home Companion."
While I can't really say I admire her lifestyle, she is a pretty decent actress. It's about time she tried to prove herself, rather than making those Disney movies she should have outgrown a long time ago.
It seems all those teen idol chicks start out on the disney channel or in disney movies. I think it’s a prerequisite. It's crazy stuff :)

I hope she does well in the indie flick, she's a good actress, and could really make a name for herself in Hollywood if she chooses some more challenging roles.

Well, she's on contract with Disney, don't know how much longer for....but if it's the right indie role, then maybe she might do well in it...good luck to her...

Here's the most recent pics of Jared Leto, from the European Music Awards. Gotta say, if there's any truth to the rumors, this boy is a step up from Wilmer. He is hot!!

I say LL's getting a bit Spearsy-overexposed...she shoulda tried to be a 'serious actress' before going Hilton on the club scene. Even the Olsons and Ashlee made their billions before jumping into their spiral towards rehab. Lindsey bores me now...

Jared Leto needs to find someone his own age. Gotta feel sorry for the guy, career hasn't gone anywhere of late and now being seen at the side of every teen princess in town.

I dont believe these rumours at all.
1st of all - How could they be getting friendly in his bus a couple of years ago?? She would be like 16 years old? And he was w/ Cameron right? Although I do believe that Lindsay has feelings for him.. but who blames her?? The guy's perfect!
And 2nd- His career has never been better! Recently he was in Alexander, Lord of War, and right now he's filming Chapter 27. His band 30 seconds to mars couldnt be better either!
I love him so much .

Somehow, there's irony in that... Going indie isn't about indipendent anymore but it's all about being with the 'in' crowd.
If that made any sense at all... :drunk:
