Brad Pitt has started the process to adopt Angelina Jolie’s two kids, the actor’s publicist informed the Associated Press on Friday.

A legal petition seeking to change the names of the children to Zahara Jolie-Pitt and Maddox Jolie-Pitt was filed in Los Angeles, publicist Cindy Guagenti said in a written statement.

“We are confirming that Brad Pitt is in the process of becoming the adoptive father of both children,” the statement said. “No further comment is being made.”

I guess Brad and Angelina are getting pretty serious. There have also been reports of a prenuptual agreement between Pitt and Jolie, so it seems marriage won't be too far off.

She legally changed it. Fortunantely {or unfortunantely however you look at it} for me I caught Angelina Jolie's E! True Hollywood Story last Sunday. And it said as much.

I felt SO BAD for John Voight, Angie's daddy. The guy really loves his daughter and has NEVER met his grandchildren - and it's ALL because of a grudge held on Angelina's part. He's tried to reconcile with her numerous times, but I guess Angelina's the stubborn type.

It must have been rather new, as it was up-to-date with Brad and everything. Boy, was that FUN. LOL :P

I, too, am sort of a Brad and Jen fan, but I like Angelina too. I dunno, I NEVER invest myself too much in celebrity relationships seeing as how they have tendency to NOT LAST VERY LONG AT ALL.

So personally, I don't care. I say it's good for them that he wants to adopt. I also say it would be better if the two married, but I get the feeling that they're going to pull a Susan Sarandan/Tim Robbins on us and do EVERYTHING but get married. After all, I believe Susan and Tim have been together for decades now. They're an older celebrity couple, so perhaps no one knows who I'm talking about.

But anyway - I too, feel that the adoption will last longer than the entire Brad/Angelina relationship. And in a way that is FUNNY! Boy, if the adoption goes thru and Brad and Angeliana break up, think of all the comedic fodder that could lead to!! Haha. :D

I just love making fun 'cause I'm so bitter that he left his WIFE for her.

No offense, I'm an Angie-as-an-actress fan, but I just HATE the idea of THAT. To do something like that, especially when it seems that Jen was happy with him - that's just stooping so low - and to think I thought Brad was ABOVE all that. Guess I was wrong.

I just hate it. I think that Jen deserved more than that. I've read articles and I saw her on The Oprah Winfrey Show - Brad hurt her. He REALLY hurt her. She was devestated.

As far as I'm concerend, as much as I like Angelina she's not much of a better person than Brad, and Jen is DEFINITELY better than the BOTH of them.

Brad and Angelina deserve each other 'cause of that. Jen - she deserves so much better. And she'll get it to, one day. I know she will.

He wasn't exactly Daddy of the year..He left her and her mother and brother, and told the world about her adopting when she didnt want people to know, he told the world that she needs help. She shouldnt have given him a second chance!

She didn't give him a second chance, or a third. Honestly, though, I don't care if she never speaks to him again. I don't get that invested in these celebrity relationships. I was just saying, from what I've seen of him recently - I just felt a little sympathy for him, 'cause he's trying to do better by her. That's all I was saying. Everyone has their reasons, Angelina has hers. I respect that.

WASHINGTON: Actress Angelina Jolie is pregnant with Brad Pitt's child and is expecting this summer, People magazine has reported.

"Yes, I'm pregnant," the US entertainment magazine quoted Jolie as telling a charity worker in the Dominican Republic, where she is working on a movie.

People magazine added that Jolie's first pregnancy had been confirmed by representatives of both stars.

Actor Pitt, 42, divorced actress Jennifer Aniston in October after 4½ years of marriage.

He had previously met Jolie, 30, on the set of their film Mr & Mrs Smith, but the couple played down rampant media speculation about their relationship, saying they were just friends.

Last month, media reported that Pitt had filed legal papers in Los Angeles to adopt Jolie's two adopted children, adding that this might be a step leading to marriage.
