Wow, it's been a while. Suzanne, I believe it's your turn to start the next round. If you're too busy let me know, and I'll search for a new quote.

Merry Christmas Eve, everyone!

Yup, it has been awhile. I'm finally back home. The weather here is amazing! I drove past an IHOP today and thought of this thread.

Merry Christmas Eve to my fellow Everwoodies!

Merry Christmas to everyone over there,

I've been away visiting my grandparents and my brother, how is everyone? whats new? hope everyone is well

Avtually in on the Everwood Season 1 DVD there's a deleted scene on the last disc where Ephram is dreaming and Amy is speaking to him in French and he doesn't understand, it's kinda funny I've never dreamt in another language befoe but I do know Spanish and a little Polish and of course English.
Oh cool, if they ever release the dvds here I'll check it out

Hey, Ally, ever hear of the Australian Christian worship band Planetshakers? They're my new favourite band. They have really good music. I just bought one of their CDs.

I havent heard of them actually, I must check them out

WisteriaJ7

Welcome back, Ally. I hope you had a good time visitng your family!

I had such a wonderful Christmas day, and hope everybody else did, as well.

You definitely should check out Planetshakers, Ally. I'm actually listening to their CD again now.

It's been awhile. My holiday was pretty good. How has everyone been? I started a new quote; I think it was Suzanne's turn. Someone else can start another one if they'd like.

(Very late) Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I've been doing pretty well -- just have been continuing to enjoy my time home. :D I went to Sea World twice within the past week (surprised?), and got to pet dolphins both times. They're so cute.

That sounds like fun, Joy. Have you gotten all caught up with Everwood? If not, you have until March....

Right now it's snowing, and the wind is terrible. I should know. I was walking to my car this morning when my umbrella broke. Then I slipped in a puddle of mud. My poor shoe. :(

WisteriaJ7

E?

Yes, I got all caught up on with Everwood over the break. It was enjoyable watching the show, but it just doesn't compare to the first season (then again, I should be used to that by now). But at least now I can understand fourth season quotes!

I have to go back to the Great White North on Sunday.

I agree. It's nothing compared to season 1, but it's leaps above season 3, IMO. Yes, now we can use quotes from season 4!

Have a safe trip back to Canada, Joy.

I?

Oh, I agree with you there, Tophey. Several things happened throughout the first half of the season that I had been hoping for.

I'm safely back in Canada. Man, it's nice seeing snow again! My day yesterday was crazy, though. I woke up at 3:30 and my flight left at 6:30 AM. I didn't get back to school until almost 1 AM.

O?

Things are going pretty well, Topher. I'm finally getting used to my new class schedule. My classes this semester are simply okay; I'm unfortunately not taking any courses that I love. But such is life. I have a lot of coursework to do already, but am spending my free time hanging out with my friends. You know how I mentioned we would watch Boy Meets World last semester? Well, this semester we're watching Full House. It's fun!

That sucks, Joy. Nothing's worse than taking a bunch of classes that you have no desire in taking. I hope things get better.

Full House! LOL I used to watch that. It had a good run.

JohnnyDfan, the last episode we had was in December. It was titled "Getting to Know You," and it's from season 4.

It's not that my courses are horrible (well...one of them falls into that category), but they're not fun, either. But I need to take these courses in order to graduate, so I'll just try to make the most out of them.

Ally girl! Long time, no talk. What's new in your life? Me, I'm doing pretty well...one of my good guy friends and I turned into a couple just a few days ago. So that has been fun. I'm keeping myself busy, between going to classes and doing schoolwork, spending time with my friends and boyfriend, helping out with the children's program at my church, baby-sitting, and going to a weekly Bible study.

JohnnyDFan -- I'm taking Public Speaking, Statistics for Business, Accounting II, New Testament, and Pauline Studies (about the apostle Paul). These are all courses that I need in order to graduate. I just wish I had one course that I loved, that would make me look forward to going to class. I had been excited about my two Biblical studies courses, but they're pretty boring. The material is so interesting, I just think it could be presented better.

Yeah I know Joy its been a while I disappeared off the face of the earth , I've been good, I'm so happy things are going well and you have BF thats sweet and cute! Reason I disappeared was cuz of a boy but he and I arent together anymore, I was juggling time basically but now i'm back! I'm just job hunting seems I didnt get into Photography, so now I'm thinking about other job possibilities that I wish to go into, and maybe apply for other courses mid-year if I dont have a job.

JohnnyDfan what is it that you do?

WisteriaJ7
02-03-2006, 11:17 PM
Yeah, he's my first boyfriend...he is so sweet and can always make me smile. That's too bad that you didn't get into photography, but I'm sure you'll be able to figure something else out.

I watched two movies tonight -- Tuck Everlasting and Freaky Friday. I've seen them both many times before, but love them. They're so cute. Freaky Friday is way too funny.

Wow, everyone's been really busy lately, I see. Sorry I haven't been updating as quickly as usual; just going through some personal stuff. On a random note, it's snowing pretty hard here at the moment. I love winter. =)

Joy, how did your speech go? That's awesome news about you and your boyfriend. I wish you two the best. Do your boring courses end in May? If so, at least you can put them behind you in a few months...and never look back. Those Bibilical classes do sound interesting, but I can see how it would be difficult to present them in a fun way that keeps people from falling asleep. I haven't seen Freaky Friday, but I have seen Tuck Everlasting. I liked it; the recent one that is. I saw the old one from 1981, too. DON'T watch it if you ever get the opportunity. I had to watch that one when I was in school. I remember my best friend and I writing a billion passes to the restroom just so we could get out of watching it. Coincidentally, I was at said friend's house last night. I fell asleep on the couch watching a movie. So glad my friend didn't draw anything on my face. That's pretty much the only person I've kept in contact with since high school, and we've been best friends since the first grade. I like having a small group of close friends rather than a large group of poeple I barely get along with.

Ally, I hope you find the right job for you. I know you'll be successful in whatever you do. Sorry about the photography job. Just look at it this way, the camera would clearly rather have you in front of it than behind it. :)

Where did Suzanne disappear to? Suzanne, we miss you!

I think you guys are stealing all our snow, Tophey. The winter here has been so mild! Seriously, I walked outside today wearing a t-shirt and jeans, and felt comfortable. I went on a walk through a park, and it was so beautiful.

Thanks for the warning about the old Tuck Everlasting. I'll make sure not to watch it. Have you heard of the movie Eight Below that's coming to theatres in a couple weeks? It looks really good.

That's awesome that you've been best friends with one guy since the first grade! Wow.

Whoa, it's been almost a month since I've been here. Hey, Ally! I love your new art. I caught on to Supernatural about halfway through the season. Have you seen "Shadows" yet? It aired last night and was amazing.

Joy, did you ever catch Eight Below? I've heard it's very good.

Sorry, my problems went from bad to worse. My mom just got over bronchitis and has now come down with a severe case of pneumonia...which she spread to my dad. She may be hospitalized if she doesn't improve in the next few days. I've also had a bad case of the nosebleeds. Seriously! And if that doesn't improve they're going to cauterize me (which is really unpleasent from what I hear).

On a sad note: Everwood could be ending. Could there be anything more tragic? I am excited, however, that the WB will be airing two episodes in one night when it returns.

Ally, how far are you in the series?

Any A's?

Thats such sad news I'm so sorry I wish you and your family well, I hope everyone gets better really soon.

In Supernatural we are up to Home, Thankies about my new art, I've made alot of icons a few weeks ago, can see my art here (http://innocent-art.livejournal.com/).

EVERWOOD ending nooo that can't happen! we are only season2.. well they aired s2 at crappy times too so I missed most of the season..

I've just got a suddenly feeling that you have already done this quote Tophey..

Wow, there's life in this thread again!

Aww, I'm sorry to hear about your parents' health issues, Tophey.

I wouldn't be surprised if Everwood doesn't come back next year. Disappointed? Yes. Surprised? No.

Hopefully you get a good job, Ally.

I watched Eight Below on Saturday night. It was a cute movie. It stuck to the classic Disney plot, but I still enjoyed it. (...although at one point during the movie I was so scared I actually screamed!) I also went mini golfing on Saturday, and that was fun.

I've been doing pretty good. I've been really busy with midterms, but I finished my last midterm yesterday, and only have two more classes today, and then I'm free for a week for March break! I plan on going to my boyfriend's house for a few days, and am excited about that. It should be fun. Then I can spend the rest of the week getting caught up on schoolwork (oh joy).

lily86
03-02-2006, 07:36 PM

I'm free! I made it through my last couple classes. (...well, I'm only "free" for a week, and I have a lot of work that I'd like to get done over the break, but at least I don't have any classes for a whole week!)

I get to baby-sit tomorrow night! That should be fun. I love kids (as you guys well know). I've been really involved helping out with the children at my church, and have been leading the Bible story the past few Tuesday nights. It has been so much fun. There was a new three year old girl there last Tuesday, and she was way too cute.

Nicholas: Ally, I love you
Ally: I love you too Nicholas, you want me to set the play station up dont you?
Nicholas: Yep.

:lol: And when he says he loves me he always gives me a hug.. I guess at least I get something, the others dont have much to do with me anymore they are off leading their own lives.. kids grow up way to fast...

Aww, your conversation with your nephew Nicholas is cute, Ally. I agree, kids grow up way too fast. My niece Rachael just turned five years old a couple days ago. I wish I could've been there to celebrate with her!

Hugs from kids are the best. My niece gives the best hugs, but then there's this little girl Nikki who always comes to the Tuesday night program that I help out with at my church. She's three-and-a-half, and gives such great hugs. They can make everything better.

Delia: So, what are you doing now?

Bright: I don't know.

Delia: Want to see a movie?

Bright: Okay.

Love that little exchange at the end of "The Day is Done."

Joy, congrats on finishing your midterms. How was babysitting? I haven't done it in awhile; been too busy.

Ally, hope you have luck finding a job.

On the topic of hugs: little kids use them and abuse them. I was babysitting a little while back when the girl asked if she could play with my hair. Of course I said no, I mean, it's hard enough to play with a guy's short hair without pulling it to death. Well, she flashed me her big smile and hugged me before asking again if she could play with my hair...yeah, I gave in.

A couple weeks ago a tornado touched down several towns away from mine, but I still had to go in the basement because the sky was green and the alarm was going off. Now, it's snowing here like you wouldn't believe. We have really strange weather. :ebraise:

lily86
03-05-2006, 07:42 PM
YAY congrats Tophey,

wow the sky was green? I've never seen green sky before. I'd be scared if was near me, but we dont get tornados here.

hahahaha how did your hair end up? when I was lil but Dad agreed for me to give him a make over and had ribbons and bows tied in his short hair, and make up on  and the cops knocked on the door  and Dad had to answer it haahhhaaahah I dont remember it as I was really lil but Dad sure does!

WisteriaJ7
03-07-2006, 09:08 PM
Oh, I should have guessed that quote! I too love that exchange. Ah, I was such a Bright/Delia shipper...the good old days...

Babysitting on Friday night was so much fun! The girls and I made paper dolls, which turned out really cute. Then we put them on a little playset and took lots of pictures of them. I gave my digital camera to the girls to use, and they took about thirty pictures of the paper dolls. I had a great time, though!

I've only had to hide in the basement once thanks to a tornado warning, and that was when I was in Colorado on vacation. It was actually kind of a fun experience. We finished eating lunch in the basement, then I played Spider Solitaire on my laptop.

That's funny about you doing your dad's hair, Ally! When I was little, I loved playing with my guy friend's hair. Poor guy.

I hope you guys are doing well. I had a wonderful mini-vacation at my boyfriend's house. It was great getting to know his family and seeing where he grew up. Plus I didn't bring any schoolwork with me, so it was a nice break. I had so much fun the past few days!

lily86
03-07-2006, 10:53 PM
 Paper dolls, I remember those days  Glad you had fun babysitting like you always do =].

Good to hear you had a great time at your bf's house for the break, did you get the embarrassing stories of him when he was a toddler? or the naked pic's of when he was being potty trained,

WisteriaJ7
03-08-2006, 02:10 PM
Yes, of course I got to hear the embarrassing stories of him from when he was a toddler. That's part of the fun of meeting the parents! The best of the stories is that he loved eating wood when he was little. He would chew any wood he could find, including their doors. His parents had to hide all the wood that was around the house! I can't say I saw naked pictures of him being pottytrained, Ally, but I did see lots of pictures of him from when he was younger. He was such a cutie.

lily86
03-08-2006, 09:57 PM

WisteriaJ7

Yup. I learned that my boyfriend used to be a woodchuck.

lily86
03-08-2006, 11:16 PM
 thats a cute nickname actually, 'woodchuck'.

Guess what Joy, I might be going to Canada later this year, every 5yrs my Dad and I go some where for my bday and as im turning 20, he asked where I wanted to go and I said Itlay, then Ireland, then Canada and New Zealand as my list, so who knows! I really hope its Europe, I think Dad will be thinking how much it'll cost him for me to see the world largest mall if we go to Canada.... I'm a shopaholic

WisteriaJ7
03-09-2006, 09:07 AM
That's awesome that you might be going to Canada later this year, Ally! I was talking with somebody from Edmonton, and he said that the locals avoid that mall like the plague. They only go there if they have visitors who want to see it. I think it would be fun to go there!

I want to travel so badly. There are so many places I want to visit -- Ireland, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, and the Orkney Islands of Scotland, to name a few. Hopefully someday I'll be able to see the world! I have this strange obsession with ordering travel brochures. So far, I have ones from California, Italy, and the Orkney Islands. (California is just so I can show off where I'm from and try to convince my friends to visit me back home.)

lily86
03-09-2006, 05:13 PM

Well if you ever come to Sydney, let me know

WisteriaJ7

Hey people, I sorta went on hiatus too-uni's been giving me more than a few hurdles. Sorry to hear about your health Suzanne-I'm glad you're doing good! (hope you had a friendly Andy-type doc :))

And woah at your repute now Ally! And I see the Prison Break guy took over Jake heh

I really wanna go to those very same places Joy (except NZ [and aussie] of course :p). Rather than the Orkneys I'd like to see the William Wallace memorial thingy as I'm a massive fan of Braveheart. I always thought it'd be fun to stay there a while and see how much of that awesome accent I could pick-up too

And it's good to see that you and everyone else are still hanging people left right and center topher!

I'd make the new hangman, but I'm so busy with schoolwork right now, as well as church activities and planning the International Students Association chapel. Hopefully things will settle down within the next couple weeks. Of course, then term papers and finals are coming up...

It's good to hear from you again, Suzanne and Jimmy.

When I travel, I would love to spend several weeks in my destinations, just so I can really experience the culture and life there.

So I have a funny story for you guys. We had a photo shoot here at my university last week. Some of the pictures will go in promotional material for the university (brochures, posters, the website, etc.). I was asked to participate, and had a fun time. It was so staged, though! First off, us "models" went to one of the classrooms. They got a professor to "teach" the class. (And we all had different textbooks open...) We got to listen to the professor's stories of her work in the government and then her most embarrassing story. I must say, that was one of the most fun classes I've been in. Then we went to a different classroom to take pictures of us there. The photographer told us to look at the board, as if someone was teaching. Then his assistant wrote a hangman game on the board, so we got to play hangman as they took pictures. It was quite fun! Then we went to the games room, and I got to play ping pong (which I'm horrible at, but enjoy). They took some pictures of some students drinking "coffee" (although the mugs were actually empty!). They also took pictures of some of us in the library, including myself. They took a picture of a couple girls sitting on the stairs talking ('cause, you know, everybody randomly sits in the middle of the stairs). And they took a picture of me peaking through some shelves. It was fun. Then we went to the professors office, and they took a picture of me meeting with one of the professors...a history professor...in an English professor's office ('cause his office was too messy). They also took pictures of a bunch of girls hanging out in my dorm room. (...and of an off-campus student studying at my desk.) So, who knows, pictures of my room might end up on the university's website. It was just amusing how staged the whole thing was. I specially thought you guys would appreciate the hangman bit.

Hey guys. I feel so bad I only make it here once in a blue moon now. I hardly ever have the time to post on the spoilers thread either. I would love to start a new quote, but I can't until next Saturday. (You're going to love this Joy. ;) ) The past several weeks my family has been dealing with illnesses going around, and everyone is finally better. So, my parents decided we should all go up to Canada for a week. I'm leaving in around 6-8 hours and I'm not even packed! (It's just past 1:00 a.m. here.) Anywho, just thought I'd let you guys know before I took off.

Joy, (cause I know you're going to ask...LOL) I'll be in Niagra Falls for five days and Toronto for two. We're driving up through Michigan and staying at a Hilton that has a falls view. Very cool. My parents always wanted to take us up there when we were kids, and two weeks ago they called and said, "Hey, what do you think about going now?" Haha! It was quite funny because my parents are not "spur of the moment" type people, and well, now we're all off to the Great White North!

Suzanne, it's so good to hear from you again! Glad everything went okay with your surgeries. Jimmy, nice to hear from you, too!

Joy, that photoshoot sounds fun. You have to let us know if they use your pics. Yes, I liked hearing about the hangman.=)

Ally, I hope your mom gets well soon.

I'll let you guys know how my vacation goes when I get back next week.

I'm sorry to hear that your mom is in the hospital, Ally. I hope she gets better soon.

The "great north" isn't very "white" right now, Tophey. That is so awesome that you'll be going to Ontario! I actually wore a t-shirt from Toronto today. (I bought it while at the Toronto airport. Hey, I had a four hour layover, I had to kill the time somehow!) That's great that you'll get to see Niagara Falls! I've always wanted to go there. I hope you have a wonderful vacation with your family.

It's past 1 AM and I have church tomorrow morning. I really should be sleeping, especially considering I need to have lots of energy tomorrow morning, as I'll be leading the children's church.

04-08-2006, 05:24 PM
Hi, Ally. Nice to hear from you again. I hope everything goes well with rehab for your mom.

I've been doing pretty good. My sister came to town today, and I got to watch my brother-in-law compete in a couple basketball games. It was great seeing them and my nephews again! The games were fun. Afterwards, my sister and nephews got to meet my boyfriend and one of my friends. Tonight I'm going to see a play here at my college.

lily86
04-09-2006, 06:11 AM
Ooo What was the play about?

I love going to games of family its so much fun supporting them. Its good you got to see them =}

WisteriaJ7
04-10-2006, 11:03 AM
The play was called The Mousetrap. The play is a whodunit murder mystery by Agatha Christie. Wow, it was so good! The actors were very talented, and I had a wonderful evening.

lily86
04-10-2006, 09:06 PM
Good to hear you had a wonderful evening thats the main thing =}

I got badly sunburnt on the weekend  bits not so bad now cuz i keep putting aloe vera stuff on so its good  I put screen on and everything every 30mins and I still got sunburnt...

WisteriaJ7
04-11-2006, 01:54 PM
Aww, that's too bad, Ally. I sunburn so easily.

I am so frustrated. *sigh* I forgot to ask my parents to record Everwood the past two weeks. I'm so used to it airing on Thursday nights. So I won't be able to see the last two episodes unless they happen to repeat sometime.

lily86
04-12-2006, 06:26 AM
aw that sucks majorly, We dont even have Everwood here dont think we'll ever get it back either =[

WisteriaJ7
04-17-2006, 12:47 PM
I pet and fed my first cow this weekend!!!

suiko
04-17-2006, 07:04 PM
Have faith Ally! Especially now that Everwood needs a little (although I really have no idea how we got in front of Aus.. We're end of season 3 now I think).

And Joy it's a pity you missed those 2 episodes, they had some important Ephram-understanding-Dad moments. Great you got to pet your first cow too, we have "travelling farmers" here whom go around all the primary (elementary I think you guys call them) schools so we cityslickers get to pet our first farm animals pretty early (milk them too!) :p

I'm composing my letter to Dawn Ostroff, have you guys (gals) yet? It's getting a tad long though but maybe that's a good thing and shows dedication? I refuse to let this show die.

WisteriaJ7
04-18-2006, 01:46 PM
I thankfully remembered to ask my dad to record Everwood yesterday, and will be able to see it when I'm home (in just a couple weeks!). Did you guys enjoy the most recent episode?

I also named a cow this weekend. Yes, you read that right. My friend wanted me to name one of her cows. I named her Hannah. How did I come up with that name, you ask? My friend used to have a cow named Amy. Of course, that name made me think of Everwood and other female characters on the show. Plus I've always liked the name Hannah. It means "God's grace."

And now I'd better get back to my schoolwork. I only have a couple days left of classes, and then I'm free! (Okay, not really, as I have two term papers due by Friday, and three final exams next week, but yeah.)

suiko
04-21-2006, 01:30 AM
Rather than being that dramatic or story-moving (I don't find Jake or Reid that interesting), it was really funny I thought, funniest episode this season at least. Gym membership, mum's boyfriend, "something you'd lance", jamaica, but she doesn't like parties - Hahaha! I loved the entire table scene, had me in stitches!

WisteriaJ7
04-21-2006, 01:33 PM
Oh, hopefully there was a Harold scene. His comedy is hilarious!

Yesterday was my last day of classes, and I turned in the last of my term papers today! It feels so good being done with all my papers and assignments!

I don't know.... which episode is it from??...... because here we are behind.... the last one i saw i think it was the 4.12 episode

suiko
05-23-2006, 03:04 AM
It must've been from Truth (4.16), so it would've been a little harder for you to guess! Different parts of America are behind each other? I didn't know that

camyforever
05-24-2006, 08:54 PM
 no.... we are behind because we are from LatinAmerica... our language is spanish, so warner channel (wb in spanish) buys the shows to wn in america and work with them adding subtitles and all that stuff... and in that they take like a month or two.... that's why we are behind.

There for example you saw the season finale right? Well.. we haven't yet, that's in the middle of june.

WisteriaJ7
06-05-2006, 04:23 PM
Tonight is the series finale... :(

Hey, Topher, I noticed you posted in the spoilers thread. We haven't heard from you here in a long time. How are you doing? How was your vacation to Canada?
