Kanye Wins (surprise!) 3 Grammy's; Get's all Cocky

I don't know what to post about today. The Grammy's were on, last night I think it was. Basically an awards show that means absolutely nothing, except, if you win, every time you make a television appearance in attempts to save your long-since washed up career, the announces says "And now ladies and gentelmen, Grammy award winner..." Here's Kanye rubbin' it in to everybody. I think people are getting kind of sick of that dude.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan on Kanye West. Especially when it comes to awards. In my opinion, he's conceded and is always the one that wants to win it. There were some awards that were big that he got nominated and didn't even win. I would love to see how his reaction was. But, I hate to see Kanye West on award shows because again, he would most likely to care and win for himself and not congratulate the others that had won.

But, I did like his 'Gold Digga' performance. It was good. Not, the song. Performance. :lol: Performances, good. Award Nominations . . . *sigh*

Kanye himself is obnoxious. Some days it's more annoying than others.

The "thank you list" thing was a pretty cheesy gimmick, which was supposed to be funny, in some blatant satirical way. But in the end, funny it was not: forced, it was.

The performance was also semi-cheesy, like a cross between Gwen Stefani's "Hollaback Girl" video with a scene from "Live At The Apollo."


Off on another tangent: what the hell was he wearing? He's known for his fashion sense, but at the awards, he sort of looked like a Prince-knock off that borrowed OJ Simpson's gloves.

He's being a hypocrite. Jesus forgave all sinners and if Kanye loves Jesus so much shouldn't he follow in His footsteps and forgive the gold-digging girl?

I mean, by your standards, one can't make any music that leans even the slightest towards negativism while remaining remotely religious. All their music would have to be "full of sunshine and happiness" and if they wanted to make something that is slightly negative, they would have to convert to aetheism.

A little FYI for all you Kanye West listeners: :wtf:is his problem? He thinks he's so pure in his white suit in a desert trying to act Christ-like and then he's a pimp. Gimme me a break how can you listen to music if that's what it is as you say. newsflash it's not. Everything he says is his opinion true, but that's it because of his I'm a god mentality he thinks everyone has to listen to him. Please Kanye is no preacher! He's more like the complete oppsite. he's just another rapper wannabe. He's so easy to see through I'm surprised no one else has but whatever. Actually, I do listen to all types of music. But unlike music snobs like you, I don't think certain genres are superior to others. I'm so TIRED of ignorant "music listeners" like you who listen to one or two genres and think they're so knowledgeable about everything. Ever tried looking up the word music? It's a GENERAL term; the art of arranging sounds in time so as to produce a continuous, unified, and evocative composition, as through melody, harmony, rhythm, and timbre.

I like his music. I can't deny that. But after watching him all up in the clouds and running around protecting his taped films on Punk'd my loving for him as a person stopped. He seems waay to cocky. Sure, I could have dated him because he has money, but uugh, I just don't like what I've seen of his personality. Then again, it could be just a public face... ;P
