Alexz Johnson

Alexz Johnson had her performance debut at a very young age, competing in talent contests and festivals. At the age of 11, she won the National Anthem Contest and was named “Best Anthem Singer” by the Vancouver Sun. As a result, Alexz found herself frequently singing the National Anthem at NHL and NBA games. At the age of 12, she was the sole entertainer at Vancouver’s New Year’s Eve festivities at Planet Hollywood. Her acting credits have since included the lead in Disney’s So Weird, a principal role on Showcase’s hit series The Chris Isaak Show and CTV’s Cold Squad and the MOW Selling Innocence. She also appeared in the Warner Bros. feature film Scooby Doo Too.

Sixteen year-old Instant Star contest winner – and wannabe legit singer/songwriter – Jude Harrison is back from her first summer tour, feeling confident, on her game and dying to return to the studio. But things have changed at home and at work. If she wants to stay on top, she’s going to have to work her butt off.

Ah! My favorite girl! She has an amazing voice! And she looked so pretty in that dress! I thought it was too funny the way she kept freaking about the ring then it was on her back! And they just bolted! :lol:

I watched Instant Star season 1, because CTV was playing it, but I don't get the N, so I haven't seen Instant Star in like a long time.. but I'm a still crazzy over this girls' voice ;)

I also loved her voice. I thought she looked very pretty in the red dress in the first epi of this season. Although I liked the red hair, I am kind of glad she went back to being blonde. :D

I love Jude/Alex. shes has an amazing voice is a great actress and shes so pretty! I like her better with red hair, but I think she looks pretty with blond also

Jude started out on the road to fame by winning the Instant Star music competition, but now she's a full-fledged star, no "instant" required. It's easy to see why. She's got phenomenal musical ability and absolutely lights up the stage when she's performing. But her music's totally real. She sings from the gut and from the heart, and whenever the two aren't calibrated, she has to make all necessary corrections before the show can go on. Sometimes the only thing holding Jude back is her overwhelming desire to help others -even if it costs her her own career and happiness. Her love for her family, her friends, and even for Tommy can blind her, and her fear of losing them can lead her to do crazy things.
