A South Florida native, Matthew excelled in both high school athletics and academics. Upon graduation he headed to Florida State University to study business and ended up taking theater classes on a whim. He soon decided to ditch business classes and plunged headlong into acting. When not immerged in the business of entertainment, Matt enjoys feeding his adrenaline addiction with boxing, racing, skydiving and anything involving a board. His role of Aiden on South of Nowhere is his first major role.

Aw, I like Aiden. He has his typical guy moments (like that episode where Spencer and Ashley almost kissed) but I think he's a pretty understanding dude, considering 2/3 of his recent girlfriends realized they are more into girls. I hope season two explores more of his past with Ashley. Not that I want them to hook up again, but I'd like to know more about what happened between them.

To the outside world, Aiden's only role is that of high school basketball star. Although he relishes the social benefits of being a jock, he's also a sensitive guy who's not quite over his ex, Ashley. For a while, Aiden eased his heartache by dating school hottie Madison, but when she dropped him for new hot shot Glen, Aiden focused on Spencer, Glen’s cute little sister. As Spencer and Ashley became closer, Aiden proved himself a true friend to the girls. With the one girl he loves dating the other girl he likes, Aiden is looking at a lonely year of waiting for the right girl to come along.

South Florida native Matthew Cohen, who makes his TV debut as charismatic golden boy Aiden, spent his high school years excelling in sports as well as academics. As a special team starter on the football team and a top three finisher in numerous district track meets, Cohen achieved the Brian Piccolo Student Scholar Athlete Award, all the while maintaining perfect attendance and a 3.8 GPA.

Matthew headed to Florida State University to pursue a business degree and on a lark signed up for a couple of theater classes. Soon he decided to plunge into his newfound passion for the arts. Strengthened by the support of his father, whom he considers his best friend, and having met a manager, Matthew found himself screen testing for a soap opera in Los Angeles within six months.

When he is not acting, Matthew still spends a majority of his free time feeding his adrenaline addiction with a wide range of sports including skydiving, boxing, racing and anything involving a board.

I love me some Matt Cohen and Aiden Dennison. I really like his friendship and loyalty towards Ashley and Spencer. I know a lot of people love Ashley and Spencer, i do too, but I dont know I'm alone in this but i really like Aiden and Ashley. I'm probably one of the few but I really enjoy them and I love Matt and Mandy. Those two are so great in the-n.com on the set videos. Even in Matt's n.com podcast he talks about Mandy. Their are really funny and how great would it be to have a friend who looks like him. :D

I was bummed when they started fracturing off and Spencer was jealous of Aiden and they started fighting over Ashley. I kind of like it best with Aiden/Spencer/Ashley hanging out together and getting along. (OT3? :lol: )

I keep missing the episodes and seeing them out of order :lol: so the last one I saw was Aiden freaking out on that paparazzi guy. Oh, Aiden. He's so screwed up but I love him anyway.

aiden is so hot. i think it would be interesting to see him with either girls. aiden/ashley before there was spencer and aiden/spencer would be interesting. although i did like all three of them as friends. they were cute and there for each other. what happened to that? now aidens hanging out with spencers dad. was there a new episode last week? and madison isnt in this season?
