So what did everyone think?

I felt as though there was too much going on and not enough time. I really think the show needs more than 13 episodes so that some plots could have more time to develop. There were so many plot threads and it was a lot to digest. We had Tommy/Jude, Tommy's little girl drama, Jude with Mason, Jude with that skeevy guy, Jude's pictures, Sadie/Kwest, Sadie/Liam, I could go on...

I was hoping for more Tommy/Jude time but alas... At least it ended in a way where it's obvious they both have feelings for each other, they both want to be together... but they just can't make it work for whatever reason.

If that little girl is Tommy's daughter, then it seems like Portia should be the mom, right? The way the girl was crying for her mommy made me wonder - has Portia been on the show lately? Did something happen to her? If it is Portia's daughter, why is she apparently living in Montana? And wouldn't Darius know?

I'll have to watch the finale again to catch everything...but I'm still looking forward to a third season.

like you, I was disappointed as well to say the least. They spent all season getting tommy and jude back together to crush it in a minute. Then they had tommy with the little girl and no explaination. They should have done an hour season finale. I cannot wait for season three...it stinks that we have to wait so long for it though.

Hey!! I was lookning through some boards and a girl came up with some clues about was the bald guy and Tommy were talking about. I found it at the N boards in case anyone wants to look at it.
She said she saw the episode and at some point Tommy told him:"I haven't even told her yet."
Then Tommy also said:" That's my girl up there."
I haven;t taken the time to watch it and try to understand what Tommy is saying but if this is true it makes sense somehow. I hope this helps in any way. By the way it wasn't me who did it but forgot the name of the girl at The N.

as pathetic as this may seem, i have been trying to read tommy's lips when he is talking to that guy while jude is performing "another thin line".

i think the biggest reason why i don't think the little girl is tommy's daughter, is because jude will be turning eighteen in season three- and there's no way she's going to be able to be a mother come the end of instant star. we all know that it will be jude and tommy when instant star is done, and they would need a lot of time to patch things up if they were going to give tommy a child. we only get thirteen episodes a season, and even what they give us now in our little thirty minute episodes can be too much (example: the very episode we are discussing). as much as i hate to say this, instant star cannot go on forever, and there is no way they would be able to come up with more plots for the episodes if they gave tommy a daughter. there's only so much to cover in the music industry, and that's really what the show is based upon. also, what is up with that creepy bald guy? if he came to let tommy know he had to see his 'daughter' or something, he would probably be a nice guy. that guy.. was not exactly kind looking. most people would allow someone to let their significant other (okay, almost significant other) know they had a kid waiting for them in the united states. when tommy went in to see jude at the restaurant, he kept looking outside at that guy in the car. when jude ran outside for tommy, he gave her a horrible look. now, i personally think that he means a little more to this story than anyone thinks.. because no person in that situation could be that unkind.

i don't know, just my thoughts.

Wait a minute what happened on the season finale I haven't seen it and I'm afraid season three will be confusing if I don't figure out what I missed because I have only seen reruns.

The N should hopefully repeat the episodes before the season premiere. Monday at 3AM EST is the first episode of season two.

But basically Tommy asked Jude on a real date, only to have this bald guy confront him about something and so Tommy had to leave ASAP. Jude tried to stop him but he left anyway and ended up in Montana (I think?) where he found a little girl crying for her mom.

Meanwhile Jude was upset and ran away to join Mason on tour. She ended up getting really drunk with a "fan" who took compromising pictures of her.

There was also minor stuff with Patsy having to fill in for Jude and perform her songs and flirtation happening with Kwest/Sadie and possibly Liam/Sadie.

I think that's about it. It's been a while so my memory is kind of fuzzy!

Wow that's crazy. Now we have to wait til Feb to find out what happens next. That is too far away.
