I'm new to this Greys anatomy.
I love the show, I started watching it recently.

So, while looking around the net it looks like season one's only got 9 episodes?
Is this correct?

Haha lol, I find it very wierd that the first season only contains 9 episodes.. How come?

Technically, Season 1 was supposed to have 4 more episodes, but they decided to stick that onto Season 2. I guess it was just scheduling issues :ponder:

Ok 1. What was that orgasmic girl's medical condition? Did they stop it? How? What happened with her in the end?

2. The guy with the face that Mark wanted to do plastic surgery on? What was HIS medical problem and how and why did he die?

i think she had something pushing on something, im not sure lol they had to remove something, or move it haha i didnt pay attention either but im pretty sure they stopped it and she was fine

i think the guy had tumours growing in his face so they had to be removed to increase his chances of a longer life but he died on the table. It was a risky surgury to begin with I think

I think these are close to being right haha I dont always totally pay attention like i should lol

yeah ashlee is right and the girl with the "episodes" was cured, and she asks Izzie if she will be able to have "episodes" when she wants to and Izzies says yes and that she'll even be able to have "orgasms"lol! Loved that epi.

I am so hoping we see more McSteamy, i loved when he gave himself his own stitches!

Umm... The "Season One, Episode One" episode is the Pilot, aka "A Hard's Day Night"

There is another episode in Season 2, however, that has a significant train accident amply entitled "Into You Like A Train" (2.06)

Meredith's mother has Alzheimer's disease and lives in a nursing home. She was a successful surgeon who had an affair w/Dr. Weber when she was young. She left her husband, who we have seen, for Richard, but he stayed with Adele. When Meredith came back to Seattle for her internship at Seattle Grace, she was going to sell her mother's house, but decided to live in it (with Izzie and George). She has since confronted her father for staying away after the divorce, and met her father's new wife and one of the sisters she didn't know she had, who is pretty young, married, and pregnant. The other is a doctor. That's all I can think of now. Is that what you wanted?

They started over in terms of sequential order (like last week, they showed an earlier episode, instead of the Thursday encore).

However, you can view the episodes free on the ABC website. Just make sure you have broadband.

Meredith only recently (near the end of last season) became close to that side of the family. Then the falling out happened. Im sure there is wierd tension there with her being similar to Meredith in many ways with one different-her dad never left lexie behind.

Oh DEFINITELY DEFINITELY watch the seasons, you will laugh and cry and have such a good time, If you like t now you will like it even more when you know all the inside jokes, and stories behind each character :)

Absolutely, without a doubt....buy/rent/download/borrow all 3 previous season of Grey's. It will be well worth it.
IMDB has been a huge help for me....as far as movies...series...actors...songs from series/movies...trivia...quotes....tons of stuff.

Hmm...usual questions...
Yes, season 1 was only 9 episodes....but definitely start there!! Don't skip it just cause it had a short premiere season!!
Season 2 was a full season, like 27 episodes...but that's when everything started getting really juicy and things got interesting...
Season 3 had like 25 episodes and was just as good! And don't worry, you can buy/rent that too, because that just came out last month, i believe on Sep. 11th...!!

So you could probably catch up on all that and maybe just tape/DVR the current episodes? Or if you're feeling bold, watch the new ones on Thursdays, and just catch up on the first 3 seasons in between??
Either way, it wil be way worth it to catch up. Not just to keep the storylines straight...but there were some really amazing episodes......(be prepared to shed a tear or 2, lol). And def some steamy relationship also!!
But that's all just my opinion...
