The next week is my mother's birthday, Oct. 3, and she'll be here for a 10-day visit. I have to figure out a nice way to say, "Mom, happy birthday, I love you, but I have to watch Gilmore Girls tonight." We'll be in North Carolina at my brother's house at the time, so it will really be tricky, but I'll figure out how to pull it off...especially when I have to watch the premiere of Lost the next night. I also have to work in Grey's Anatomy and The Office. Those are the only shows I watch on purpose. Maybe I can just get her interested in them, too.

You asked the question so soon after the show had aired, and many (probably most) people don't tape the show for one reason or another, so they would have no way to check before the transcripts had been posted. It seems pretty unreasonable to expect an instant answer to something impossible to verify for most people. Goodbye. :wave:

um i asked the question for the sole purpose that someone may have remembered
i know there would be no way of checking before "transcripts" are posted. i am fully capable of checking myself if there was a transcript. if you are real fans you would remember and not have to verify it. but no, you let the funniest jokes of the show fly by you and all you care about is focusing on some in depth analysis bullshit of luke and laralei just like a group of 13 year old aerie tuesday prepubescant girls would.

OK i heard that Luke and loriale get back together and that Rory and Logan break up and that there is a chance that Milo is to return help me out here is it true I am english and only really seen up to the end of season 5 but season 5 was all in clips online as i missed it on tv and at the moment they are only reshowing season three over here which i own on dvd so I know the basics of what happen with Luke/lor/chris and the rest so please tell me

Is Jess every coming back? I thought the show wanted to fill the void on Rory's lovelife by putting Marty (who cares?) back this season. I thought that if not for Heroes, the show would be already building up Rory's hooking up with Jess again. I thought that was the whole point-- Logan not really being for Rory as good as he has been but Rory being with someone who shares the same passions as she does.

I don't think Jess is ever coming back. Milo Ventimiglia doesn't want to return, which makes a big difference.

I didn't know the right place to talk about this, didn't see a thread. Just wanted to know if anyone knew the story about the DVD's release. I've been checking, and checking sites, but I can't see anything. It seems most other shows have put a release date for their DVDs (House, Lost, Grey's Anatomy, One Tree Hill, Heroes)... so what's the hold up with Gilmore Girls? Maybe we'll learn something from Ausiello.

GG S6 came out fairly soon after S6 ended. I'm sure S7 will be coming soon. I kind of regret getting each individual season (I have 1-6) because they will eventually release a GG Complete Series Box Set. I love complete series box sets I have a couple and just love them. Much nicer and easier than having a bunch of individual seasons.

Well I didn't like the latter two seasons either, but as a GG fan, it's not right to own 1-5 and then not 6 nor 7. So I might as well get every season, even if I don't like every season. Though that sounds hypocritical since for Everwood, I won't get any season other than the S1 I own because the rest were not real Everwood in my mind.

Thanks a lot. That cleared things up. :) I saw the clips, aack. I hate the way Anna just turned on him acting like she was the only one who could make decisions about April's life. I'm glad Luke stood up for himself.
