hey i was wondering if i can redo the BUFfy's keeper list?Chloe is helping coming over and cleaning up but since melanie wont come anymore i was wondering to take it over because chloe cant do it all?

That's perfectly fine :) Just set that up, and I'll come by and stuck the new one when I get a second.

Hmm, I dunno if it's just me, but everytime I want to save a picture to my computer, the picture is saved in Bitmap (BMP) version, even when it's an animation or a regular JPG. Can someone help me with that tell moi how to save it in it's proper file?

When you save it, you need to change the file type to another, if it's giving you that option :) There's a drop-down box (it'll say BMP), and the other file types you can use should be listed under there.

Hi. I'm having a problem. Every once in a while, the images in people's sigs and on the forum disappear and when I go to another message board, it starts doing that after visiting here. And yes, I have cleared all cookies. It only happens every other time I visit the board. What could be the problem? Thanks!

For some reason, I am not able to activate the journals or the Stars Hollow Nightclub anymore. What's going on? It says:

The main FB page is supposed to be in the gray/green/orange scheme. If you're talking about the forum directory, it depends on what color scheme you have set.

I have the same problem as JJMS1021. I used to have the color scheme set to the blue and white one but since the hacker (dunno if that has anything to do with it) I don't have the option for that color scheme anymore.

Hmm? I thought that color scheme glitch switcheroo thing was fixed. Guess not. So it's unavailable... for now (?).

The only thing I can think of if you're opting for a "brighter" FB is to manually adjust the contrast of your screen :ah:

For some reason, any time I try to access a Forum/Thread that has the gray/green as its default, it doesn't load properly:

My default is on the black/blue, and it works perfectly well for the other forums. But on the forums that have its default set to gray/green, such as the Music Forum, I can't view it. I tried deleting my cookies and that didn't help. And I've restarted my computer four times. I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I didn't now where to ask.

Hmm? It's working fine for me (when I have "NFB2005" as default and when switching to "OFB").

Have you tried clearing the temporary internet files OR switching to the "NFB2005" option to see if it works with that?

I tried deleting the files but it doesn't work. I tried switching to the NFB2005, but it doesn't switch to it on the certain forums that override your own default. I don't think it has anything to do with the hack, because it seems that only I have this problem...I don't know what else it could be.

It may be possible that your computer is set to delete cookies, or not allow them at all. Mine used to do that all the time, and my uncle took that off, so I'm not exactly sure how to do that. But if you know someone, check into that ;)

In your 'User CP' there's an option 'Buddy / Ignore Lists'. To have a mutual friend, you and that person must both be on each others buddy list. If only one has the other then it doesn't appear on your profile.

Moderators are chosen basically by the staff getting together and saying "Okay, we need Mods here and here and here. This member, this member, and this member are good choices." We look for members who are active, responsible, and helpful to other members. Don't ask us, though, we'll ask you. ;)

The country threads aren't deleted - We don't delete any threads at Fanbolt - They're moved to OT storage. Posts in OT storage and deducted from the member's post count, how we used to do with the game threads.

Subscribed threads are just that: threads you are subscribed to.

Basically, anytime there is new activity, you will be notified via User CP. If you go a step further with the e-mail notification, you will also get that too.

^^ It is a good way to keep up with threads, especially ones you constantly post in. If someone posts you can go to your CP and click on it and be caught up! Thats usually what I do instead of having to go through each forum to see whats new

It's to "stick" the threads to the top of the forum. Where as in other threads they are listed by the last post date/time the sticky threads remain at the top no matter what.

right at the top of yur screen you click "Tools" and then "Internet options" There is a button that you click there to delete your cookies, i hope that helps!

If you still have problems, give it a couple of days. It was happening to another girl, and after she cleared her cookies (You might wanna clear your history, too, same place as cookies), it was still being silly, but after a couple of days, it was fine.

I keep getting this odd pop up thing..a English license thing from Adobe Acrobat :confused:..I have to press a button that says accept to agree to do english license but I decline. I'd suggest getting a pop-up blocker for something like that, if you don't have one already. ;)

For anyone who was having trouble with not having access/not being able to view NightClubs since the hack, I talked to Emma finally, and she to either PM her or send an IM to FanBoltSupport on AIM (The IMing will yield faster results). Give her your username, club memberships, which clubs you're having trouble seeing. Also, if you're having trouble with joining clubs (You can't view clubs you've joined since the hack), make sure you tell her that, too.

Anykind of OT thread, like Shawna said - Game threads and OT forum threads and such - Will take away from your post count. Also a lot of the threads in The Tabloids (basically any of the threads that have a # after them) are considered OT and go to OT Storage. The country threads in The Tabloids also go there, so if you've posted in any of those, that's what happened. ;)

Last time I logged on I caught 4 viruses. Make sure your anti virus programs are up to date. It's definitely NOT COOL to load a virus into a web site.

I hate to say it, but that's probably not true.

In order for a virus to be transferred through a website, I think it needs to be physically loaded onto the server - So that person is basically saying that Emma has viruses loaded on the server, which completely isn't true.

I could be wrong (someone call Jon!) but that's how I understand it. Sorry if I am, though. ;)

This is because you can only cick on the new posts button every 30 seconds so if you click it and it says you have to wait for so many minutes that just normal :)

I can't post in the Ear Candy nightclub. I see the posts fine its just when I go to post it says

It has a little lock by the side of it when you view it in the nightclubs. I believe its been like this since the hack, and I thought I mentioned it before but I don't think I did.

For anyone who was having trouble with not having access/not being able to view NightClubs since the hack, I talked to Emma finally, and she to either PM her or send an IM to FanBoltSupport on AIM (The IMing will yield faster results). Give her your username, club memberships, which clubs you're having trouble seeing. Also, if you're having trouble with joining clubs (You can't view clubs you've joined since the hack), make sure you tell her that, too.

I know, it says that's the only requirement, so, it doesn't matter if you're not from America? Because often contests are only for over-18's and citizens of the US and canada :shrugs: so I wondered if that's the case here, too

^^since nobody has replied to you yet, i'll just tell you what i know... i entered the Friends-DVD giveaway a while ago, & there wasn't any requirement except for the number of posts. & I got a DVD.
So I guess that Emma usually ships internationally, & the only requirement is to state the numer of posts :)

They are both Nightclubs. Ear Kandy is for Music although it hasn't been available since the hack. FanBar is a place where you discuss drinking alcohol and such, or so I believe. That has also been unavailable since the hack from what I can make out.

Did you happen to change your password or email through Fanbolt lately?

What's happened is your account is waiting for some change to be activated, which is why you're showing up as a Registered User. Check your email (including your junk box) and see if you have an email from Fanbolt that has something needing to be activated. If you don't, that's okay, I can do it manually for you.

That's also probably why you're not getting any notifications. Your account is being viewed as not fully registered. ;)

when you rep someone's post, how much "points" do they get? like, in my User CP, it says "31992 points total", but i doubt that almost 32000 people repped me..

The amount of points depends on how many posts the member has. The more posts, the more points. Which is why new member's reps come through as neutral, it's not enough points to count. ;)

I've not been around for ages and ages, but I've been back for a bit now and I was wondering why some of the best clubs (aka, Dark Angel, and Angel the Series aka the best telly show ever) are no longer open? Is this permenant?

Any NightClub that is closed (other than Cinematic) is considered a permanent close. The clubs with incredibly inactive (for months upon months) so we thought it best to get them out of the way. :)
