Absolutely NEW to this forum, but I had jump into this "Reela" bandwagon because I agree with what everyone has said so far about these two.

I think they have amazing chemistry and Ray has been breaking my heart with his attempts to reach out to Neela.

According to Ray's Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ray_Barnett) profile that "He recently realized that he missed his chance with Neela in season opener with John Stamos".

I missed the first episode of the season - so can someone update me on what exactly happened to make him realize this?

I've just watched clips of 'Heart of the Matter' on youtube. It appears that Neela digs this Gates guy, but he appears to be living with someone! And he flirts with Neela at work! That's such a bad thing to do! (I haven't seen any other episodes of the new season, so I have no idea who this woman is or what's been happening.)

Oh, and poor Ray. He knew that Gates was trying to get Neela's attention and he really didn't like it. Then this new girl, Katey criticised his, um technique in the bedroom. Gates-Neela-Ray-Katey...that's not a love triangle, that's a...I'm not even sure what shape that is. I'm pretty confident that Neela and Ray will end up together though...the writers just want to torture us by playing it out for a long time. Why have a couple get together in a straightforward way, when you can embroil them in bags of angst, heart-break and a super-complicated love triangle over twenty-something episodes?

I haven't followed too closely, but they would definitely be a great couple, and I'm rooting for them! I saw the episode where Ray unfortunately had to witness a hookup :((

I love Ray and Neela. However, I am getting sick to death of the stupid dance the writers have them do. I'm getting sick of the way Neela is treating Ray, stringing him along when she's still dallying with Gates. She must know how he feels about her by now. I've heard some spoilers about Shane West's future in ER and I'm not happy. I'm beginning to lose faith that this couple will ever get together. I mean, I want to believe it, but quite frankly, the things I've heard don't sound good. If the spoilers are true, then I may stop watching the show completely. Especially if Neela ends up with Gates.
