This week's episode sent some of our heroes off chasing red herrings, and figuring out who the serial killer bad guy Sylar is will probably be the focus of the series for several more episodes to come.
So don't read any further if you don't want that ruined for you. SPOILERS BELOW!

The thing is, Sylar may not be any of the people currently on the 'Heroes'. It's not the stripper, it's not the cheerleader's dad. It's not any of the people you think it is. According to IMDB Sylar is Lord of the Rings star Sean Bean.
The suspense was ruined by IMDB where they list the full cast list for 'Heroes' first season. On the list is Sean Bean, credited as Sylar. Bean has yet to show his face on the show, but IMDB promises he'll be there for at least three episodes. If I had to bet, I'd guess that it'll be the final three. The Sylar question seems like one of those that they'll let linger.
As a casting choice, it's absolutely brilliant. Sean Bean is a fantastic character actor, and he's always been at his best when playing a total villain. Hopefully they'll give him more than three episodes. IMDB may have let the cast out of the bag, but the thought that 'Heroes' may have Sean Bean in store for us will keep me watching.
Of course IMDB has made mistakes before, and there's no way to be certain yet if they have this right. We'll have to wait and see what comes of it.
