UNDER PRESSURE -- The Panthers are preparing yet again for another game they can't afford to lose. Jason (Scott Porter) still finds it difficult to adjust to life at home, and the feelings he still has for Lyla (Minka Kelly) don't make it any easier. Meanwhile, at what couldn't seem like a better time, Matt's (Zach Gilford) dad comes home from Iraq, but the homecoming is not what Matt expected. To make situations even more complicated, UT has taken an interest in Coach Taylor, whose popularity continues to grow, and Smash becomes more and more dependent on unnatural substances to keep up with the competition. With all the drama off the field mounting, the players work even harder to get a victory. Taylor Kitsch, Jesse Plemons, Connie Britton, Aimee Teegarden, and Adrianne Palicki also star.

I never post on this board, but I adore this show. It really is one of the best shows on television...

As for tonight's episode, I thought it was good. Matt and his dad killed me, but then again there hasn't been an episode yet when Matt hasn't made me cry. During and after the game...Ugh. Zach Gilford should completely get an Emmy nod, and his performance tonight could easily be sent in for tape. Also, Matt and Julie? Love. Lovelovelove them...Her not wanting him to go, trying to protect him when he was fighthing with his father, trying to calm him down...I couldn't even get mad at Matt for being mean to her, he completely reached his breaking point. Poor thing.

I really can't stand Lyla...I think Street's to good for her, but that's just my opinion. I have very little pity for her, and I don't think that's going to change any time soon.

Landry and Riggins should be bff. Not even kidding. And his band's name? Hilarious. God I love that kid.

I felt so bad for Matt with his dad coming home all he wanted was his dad to be proud of him at the game. Then his dad wanting to put the Grandma into a home is really sad then he'll have to move in with his aunt. I don't agree with his dad at all. He should be home right now not fighting in Iraq he's got problems with his family he should be taking care of them.

I don't think that Jason should take Lyla back. She'll just get bored and run off with Tim again like before. But I can't wait for the next episode. It looked really interesting.
