I agree with everyone but back to Kyle. Some of my favorite moments were when he took down that cop and when he defended Josh na himself from that Bully! It was just so..Idk...hero-esc. I'm hoping that he comes back with his abilities trained.

Actor talks new plots and powers for ABC family's super powered teen hero

Season two of the ABC family Science Fiction drama KYLE XY started this week, and if you follow the series you know there are many questions that have been answered and just as many that have been raised. Matt Dallas the actor who portrays Kyle the super teen, chatted briefly with iF MAGAZINE and gave us some insight into everything different about season two, from the number of episodes to everything he had to do as far as stunts this time around.

iF MAGAZINE: What can you tell me about the new season?

MATT DALLAS: We’re in the middle of shooting it now, and I can tell you it’s such a better show. It’s going to be bigger and better than last year. The relationships are going to be stronger; the plots are going to be thicker and its going to be an exciting season for us.

iF: I’m sure this season the action just takes off, since in the first season so many of the early episodes were spent just having Kyle learn to be human, do you get to explore Kyle’s super powers more this season?

DALLAS: Season two I really got to have Kyle grow up. Season one was all about everyone taking care of Kyle and him finding out where he came from and what his origin was. This year is really about Kyle taking care of everybody else and really about finding his purpose in life, why he is here, and what he can do with his powers and his capabilities.

iF: Will we have new villains?

DALLAS: Possibly…[Laughs and raises his pinky to his mouth] We did introduce a new female counterpart to Kyle; her name is Jessie. She’s the dark to Kyle’s light.

iF: How many episodes is season two going to be?

DALLAS: We’re doing something a little bit different this year. Last year we aired ten episodes, but this year we’re airing in twenty- three in two different blocks. So, you’ll get a set of thirteen and then there’ll be a big hiatus and then you’ll have the second block in the winter.

iF: Any plans of having KYLE XY TV movies like BATTLESTAR GALATICA is doing to fill in between seasons?

DALLAS: I don’t know. That’d be kind of fun to see what they came up with. I don’t that’s anywhere in the near future, but you never know.

iF: So in comparison to what you did last season physically to this season what were some of the differences?

DALLAS: This year they’ve really been exploring it a lot more. They’ve had me in training for everything from rock climbing to playing the guitar. I do crazy leaps and jumps and look for Kyle to be doing some mind reading as well.

iF: So was the MAN FROM ATLANTIS swimmer in season one actually you?

DALLAS: Actually that was not me that was a stunt guy. Funny story since you brought that up; he got all rigged up to do the swimming and he lost his swim trunks on the first take and was getting pulled through the water buck naked. [Laughs] It was funny, and I was thankful that it wasn’t me! Although I’ve done y share of nudity on that show

iF: How many hours does the belly button prosthetic take to apply?

DALLAS: To be honest with you, we don’t use a prosthetic. We have one, but usually they CGI it out. Which works better for me because it means less time in the make up chair.

Omg! not only is he hott, heroic, and humble but he knows how to play the guitar too! It would be kinda cool to see him as a normal tenage guy with an electric guitar:)

And what happened to all Adam bailin's things? I would've thought they would pass down to kyle. His dad/creator had the money for this huge mansion with a garden and Tom Foss security and a financial advisor/lawyer type personand an iron gate and etc. Yet Kyle doesnt have the money to buy a car or a piano? What happened to Bailin's computer? The furniture? Did Bailin have a car and is tha now Kyle's? there's just alot of loose ends that I don't quite understand. If kyle misses Bailin so much why not go get a picture? Not that it could ever replace the real thing but you see what I mean?

Um no she killed or...tried to kill herself so she wouldn't betray Kyle. She'd rather die than betray him. Just having the info doesn't mean that she'd give it to Madacorp.

Now all Kyle has to do is keep a suicidal fugitive alive long enough to destroy Madacorp, save her, his family, and himself. That is if she's even still alive. No pressure huh? lol
