Emily Van Camp joins ABC's "Brothers & Sisters"

OMG! Best Brothers & Sisters News Ever!
Sitting down? Are you? 'Cause I've got the best news ever. Seriously. You're gonna die. Or at the very least piddle yourself.

The role of Rebecca has been cast on Brothers & Sisters, and you're not going to believe who got it: Emily VanCamp! OMG!

This hasn't been officially confirmed by ABC or Touchstone, but it's true — trust me. Emily starts work on Friday.

Not exactly sure how our beloved Everwood grad went from being in the running to out of the running to landing the actual gig, but, well, who the frak cares!?! She got the part! We did it! (And by "we," I mean me and Greg Berlanti.)

I'll have much, much more on this developing story in the coming days, weeks and months. Heck, I may even do an AA spin-off entitled "Ask Ausiello About Emily VanCamp's Brothers & Sisters Gig." I'd certainly read that column.

OMG!! That is so awesome. But on the Emily VanCamp site, domebody told me she wasnt appearing in the show. But I am going to check it out! That is so awesome. Cause I love that show and I love her so much!

I think it's pretty cool how all these people keep showing up in each others tv shows...I assume thanks to Greg Berlanti, Treat Williams has a recurring role in Brothers and Sisters, and now Emily VanCamp will appear as the daughter of Patricia Wetig...Wetig of course is the real life wife of Ken Olin...Ken Olin produced Alias and now Brothers and Sisters, both of which star Ron Rifkin...those are just a few examples, but it's nice to see that these executive producers seem to be loyal to certain actors that they've worked with.

Did anybody watch Emily last night!?! I did! she did a wonderful job! I think she got a nice part and is very very good at acting, even after Everwood! and she was amazing in Everwood and she is still continueing to do a great job acting:)
