New Save Everwood Idea

hey ppl,
this is just an idea on how to raise money to get the bes show back on TV, but anyway here it goes.

remember the sweet moment where ephram gives amy the circle necklace? i think that necklace singnifies soooo much, like the love that they have for each other. okay, here is where my idea comes in. what if we sold the same type of necklace and it had an emgravment on it that said "Save Everwood" or something. i know that i would buy it, but it is just an idea. let me knoe what you think!

That is a very good idea :) I would definally buy the necklace...that was one of my favorite Ephram and Amy episodes. I think we should try somemore things like that actually, like engraved things that say like i love everwood or save everwood. If anybody else has anything they can add more things to that idea.

:idea: well, what i mean is, this idea could first be sent to like the CW, and we could ask them to moniter the sales, and maybe if enough sold.....it would show them how many fans there are out there........

I think it's a lost cause. All the cast and crew have moved onto other productions. Greg Berlanti is the show runner of "Brothers and Sisters" on ABC, and hes tied into a contract with Touchstone Television. Emily VanCamp is also a series regular on the show. So they wont be returning for Everwood even if The CW pick it up for another season.

I think we're better off shifting our efforts to getting the DVDs out!

That a good idea crjeong!:) We should try to do something to get the rest of the seasons of everwood out on dvd, Because they do only have season 1 on dvd. Plus everwood already went Hiatus on abc family and i only got to watch season 3 and 4. so i think it would be a good idea to try to get the rest of the show on dvd.

this idea is fabulous it just needs the action, like having the stuff ready and advertising them, but still how would that help everwood? i think what would really help is the hugest megaphone in the world and stand infront of cw centre and say: cancel gilmore girls, cancel one tree hill just give us back everwood!!!!

I hate to say it, but I agree. This is a lost cause for all of the reasons listed above.

I do agree that most likely there is no way to get it back but there is still ways to save Everwood... not the bringing back of new episodes showings on tv but that actual show. Like putting the rest of the seasons out on dvd and getting more merchandise out. And also getting it back to replaying the 4 seasons on abc family. All of these things are still saving Everwood, because somtimes, i am just saying sometimes after a show has ended it seasons some people forget about it! And we love everwood, and we want it to never go away so i think we should all come up with ideas and saving the actual show. Try to come up with idea, and then share em'.

There was this idea on another Everwood community (ABC Family) thing and it was that there should be like a two hour everwood movie on ABC Family or some television network that would pick up where the series left off, and if enough people watched, then Everwood could come back. just an idea though (i thought it was a good one by mapleshade06 on the ABC Family Everwood forum).

It would be nice if they brought Everwood back on any of the networks. I understand everyone has moved on with there contracts to other series. It does not have to happen right away but it can happen in a few years. I am hoping for the DVDs to be released now. This show was by far the best one on television for me and was the one i tuned in regularly to see now the shows on today just do not catch my eye like Everwood has.

Id buy one just to HAVE one lol. But no I think its a good idea but I think that the show totally coming back is not a possibility anymore. The cast & crew has moved on like everyone else has said. but if it was used for the DVD's releases or for ABC Family to get it off of hiatus then thats a good idea!

I like the movie idea... and the necklace as well... not that I actually believe there's a chance they would bring it back *-) But hey! It's a nice necklace =) The question is... where would we get the necklaces? Guess that's a hard one to accomplish... =/

Hey everyone,
In the newpaper, my dad found an article that he thought i should share. The story is about a show that was cancelled, then a couple months later, due to fan request, it came back just to get cancelled again. Now, TEN YEARS LATER, fans have been writing again, and now the show is coming back! This just goes to show never give up hope that Everwood could come back!

I hope in the future they just allow everyone to pay a fee to download whole series and episodes, which you can burn onto a DVD. That way shows would be easier to release and the studios won't have to make such a gamble as pressing all those DVDs and marketing them. It'll be like iTunes but with TV shows.
