It went down in viewers but it became a much better show in Season 4 all the critics agree because it got rid of Marissa and brought in Taylor and Ryan and romantic comedy. OTH has not gotten such critical acclaim now has it? OC just has less viewers than before due to the bad Season 3 and Idol.

Have you watched it since Marissa left? It's much funnier, the plots are more creative. Instead of just piling on the drama (which btw is what OTH does) the OC began to take not-so-dramatic plotas + cute romances + funny lines and create a good show from things other than just the drama.
