Yeah but you have to take six hours of lessons. Which means you're suppoused to go to the lessons never having driven before. Which is scary. My mother's like, "OMG I CANNOT TAKE YOU BECAUSE ITS ILLEGAL" but everyone seems to do it.

This is our system...you have to take the class or just take the test of knowlege, then take 6 hrs of lessons, then you get your permit, one year later you get your "Cinderella license" and then your basic. Maybe it's cause you didn't get your permit till you were older than 16 that it's different? Or just a Jersey vs. PA thing.

Yeah same. 16-permit. 17-junior. 18-senior. Learning all the restrictions in Driver's Ed. Not that anyone pays attention to them. My driver's ed teacher was talking today about how FIRST YEAR drivers cause OMG!AMILLION accidents. We've had like 11 people die in a month from teen driving in Jersey so that causes more restrictions. But mostly in the burbs and we're in the city and still get affected, how rude.

In my town, you take drivers ed. in school, in 9th grade, and then you take your permit test. You're not really supposed to practice driving before your 6 hours of lessons, my instructor said, because it messes you up, since your parents have their own techinques and everything like that.

We have to have our permit at least 6 months...because that's when people get in accidents the most...but when you're 18, you could get your permit, then get your license the next day....

It's weird, because when the first few times you drive, the car just feels so heavy. It's hard to describe, but it's like your driving a ton of bricks. A year or so later, the car feels light.

I loved my drivers ed teacher, but we mostly just watched a lot of videos and stuff.

Oh my gosh.

My Friday night was insane.

I went to a 16+ night with my friends at a nightclub. We almost left after an hour or so because it was weird, but my friend was grinding with this guy, and we lost her in the crowd, so we stayed. My best friend and I went into the crowd and just started dancing. I was sort of accidently grinding on this guy. :lol:

But it was fun after the crowd got insane. Yes, it was awkward watching people grinding really hard or whatever, but the dancing was fun.

It was intense. :lol: It was different though... we sat in this thing and it took you upward instead of downward and then dropped you w/ bungee cords!

IB and AP are both like advanced classes. You can get college credit for taking them. I wish my school had more AP classes. All we have is AP English, AP Calc, AP Spanish, and probably some AP history course. They are all for only seniors except AP English.

I am officially depressed. A girl I know got into my #1 choice college and I'm still waiting. In Agony. I've heard of people who have gotten rejected and accepted so Idk what to expect. All I have to say is they are taking their time rejecting/accepting me :lol:
