Thanks, Heather. I was trying to keep the poll results from the first thread, but I guess we can't.

Yeah, we cant. We have to start a new poll with each thread, so I copied the results from the last poll.
Hopefully, members will stick to the honor system. *hint* *hint*

I really liked Rory with Dean as well, but I must admit I eventually started to like Logan, however it did take like a whole season to get over it.

i will always believe that rory and jess were meant for each other, even if logan is in the picture now... you can just tell that when rory and jess were together it was (and i don't want to sound cliche' but) magic... eek i'm already cringing at that sentence... but you get the idea... i just think that if anyone loved rory the most it was him.

Well, as a former Lit, I can in all honesty say, that I think that Rory and Logan are so much better together than Rory and Jess ever were.

I love Jess and Rory. They just fit, perfectly. And no one could see Jess' good side the way Rory saw it.

Yeah, I wasn't too happy with the fact that she ended up with nobody. I love her and jess together and i always will, but I was still sad when her and Logan broke up. I thought that was uncalled for, lol.

 I think she should just go back with Jess. He came back so mature, not the badass he was when he first met Rory. I know he left countless times but he's matured and I think Rory should give him a shot.

See, I think Jess treated her the best. I know some people are gonna be like "wth but he was forcing her to go NYC with him" and all that, and I get it but whenever Rory was with Jess she was always herself. Jess knew her best, all those times when Rory did an un-Rory like thing he'd know that and he'd tell her.
Sometimes I think Logan took Rory for granted, and he wasn't exactly my cup of tea. Rory changed incredibly with Logan. I'm not sure if that was because she was getting older, or if it was the guy himself.
Dean was very boring. So, so sorry. However my secound choice would definitley be Dean.
I'm hoping for a movie as well, especially since in the finale I wanted a return of Jess. For him to like, pop out behind the counter of the diner and have a talk with Rory and stuff. Or Jess to run into Lane and her to inform him about Rory and Logan and them breaking up. Okay, I'm making no sense when I ramble but I wanted Rory to surprise Jess with a kiss and to leave it at that for us to determine wth will go on in the future.

I understand what you mean, and for what you said is exactly why i don't like Logan, they just look good together (Rory and Logan) but as you said she changed so much when she was with him, and i don't like that Rory. Some of you maybe are gonna hit me for this, but Jess made a lot of mistakes (i am not saying Dean didn't) i still don't know what to think about him (Jess), in the past i don't like him, but now he is starting to like me, my second choice would be definitly Jess. I really hope they make a GG movie because the finale was too unfinished.

I actually liked Logan, and since he's doing pretty well in the poll but no one's really commented anything good, I'm going to speak up for him.
Logan combines all the best qualities of both Jess and Dean. He's a bit reckless and arrogant like Jess in a way that's good for Rory because she's so sheltered and serious some of the time and needs someone who's more reckless then her to show her things and help her have a good time with life in general.
But unlike Jess, Logan also has the Deanish qualities of managing to BE THERE for Rory. I really do like Jess, I prefer him over Dean, but he wasn't always there when Rory needed him. Logan always was. Rory wanted Jess to change for her, but he never could. Logan did, in all the best ways.

What do you mean, being there for Rory?
Like, Jess was pretty good at doing that but we have too look at his story as well. Hoodlum, rebel, I get it, but his background and past has a lot to do with that. His parents weren't exactly number one however I think Jess fell into a bad path. He's kind of like the kid from the wrong side of the tracks with a golden heart, yet insecure. There, that's the word, insecure. He was always so insecure with his relationship with Rory, and just everything really. I felt bad for him at that, but Rory always brought out a side of him, a new light, and I fell for Jess because he honestly was such genuine good kid and he really cared for Rory. If he didn't he wouldn't have warned her how un-Rory she was being when she was with Logan. And I applaud him for that.
One time I hated Jess was when he was putting words in Rory's mouth, saying she "wanted and needed to come with him NYC". That ticked me off big time, but when he came back all mature, sophisticated I really wanted him and Rory to give it another shot. I knew it could work then because Jess was over that whole rebellious adolescence stage that made him so insecure.
Logan was good too, I must admit that I hated when he was there so I kinda quite watching along the way but he was okay. I mean, not my favourite and I didn't like how he changed Rory, but he was kay.
Dean was boring, and kind of too perfect. Atleast Logan and Jess had flaws.
Anyways, IMO they left Rory single in the end for a reason probably. I have no idea how she would find her way back with Logan after that whole episode but I just have this idea that maybe her and Jess would find their way back to one another.

Dean. I have a weakness for Jared Padalecki, so I choose Dean. He was sweet and he really loved her. Jess, yes he was hot and the chemistry was there but there was just something about him, I didn't like (but I love Milo and Jess's character) And Logan, the butt-faced misgrant, yeah he annoyed me after a while, but he ranks number 2 on my list of Rory's boyfriends, at least in S5-6 ..in 7 he really annoyed me.
And that leaves Tristan. God how I wish they would have done more with them. I recently formed a new addiction to Trory, with fanfics and re-watching the few episodes he was in. God, now that would have been hot, but noooo they couldn't put them together ..just one measly kiss. Oh well. They live on in fanfiction.

The fact that Jess left town without saying good-bye, making her miss her prom is enough reason not to like him. Not to mention what a complete jerk he was to her in the last half of Season 3.
Logan was far from perfect, but at least he always put Rory first, and admitted when he was wrong.

The fact that Jess left town without saying good-bye, making her miss her prom is enough reason not to like him.
And on top of that, he treated her like a dirt just because she didn't want to have sex with him at a party. That is the kind of guy that I wouldn't want for me, for my friends or anyone else I care about.
That moment alone in Kyle's bedroom could have affected Rory's selfesteem. And I always thought that that was why she didn't date anyone else for a whole year and found easier to go back to Dean at the end of season 4. She didn't want to get hurt again.
People say that Logan changed her, but the thing is that she was growing up. She couldn't be the same innocent and shy teenager forever. The girl wouldn't survive in her first job, and her reaction to Mitchum's review of her performance during the internship is a proof of that.
To me, Dean was perfect as Rory's first boyfriend and I loved them together. But they grew up different people, with too different goals and needed to move on. I would like to see Dean again (if there is a movie), and know that he is happy with someone else and can be friends with Rory. But that's it.
Now, Logan is her perfect match. He started the show as that guy that didn't commit, and he was openly honest about that. He was the only one who didn't try to conquer Rory, just because he found her special and knew that he couldn't give her what she deserved. Once they started a relationship he did make mistakes, but changed himself completely to be that guy for Rory. He changed from the guy that couldn't be in a relationship, from a guy who wouldn't say "I love you" to the guy that wanted to marry her...And that says a lot about him.
Jess was an exciting and somewhat hurtful experience for her, I guess. And that he wrote a book makes him a intelectual, but doesn't prove that he can be a life partner.

I can't deny i thought exactly the same about Jess in season 2 and 3. He make a lot of mystakes, but he was just an inmature kid, a little stupid. But the new Jess definitly won some pints, at least with me, i understand Rory was growing up and all that, but i feel like when she is with Logan (independently if she was growing up or not) is a complete different person. Logan was a jerk at the beginning too, he changed, but i still think he's not the guy who Rory can spend the rest of her life with. I think she should be with Jess or Dean, i feel like at least she was herself with them.
