Scott and I are getting our own Place *Finally!*

We are getting a mobile home. :happy: We move in 4 days.. read page 4+ to find out what happened to the apartment. I like the mobile better anyhow.:lol:

Anyway, we move on the 23rd. :) We already know our apartment number and everything, woot woot! We put our deposit in today. ...I've never had my own place before so I'm SOOOO exciiiiited. I just felt like sharing.. :lol: We will be getting a 1 bedroom for now, which will be $600 a month. We are getting a phone, cable and the internet installed as soon as we can. I'm going to try and get it before we move in but if not, then as soon as possible.. because you know I can't live without visiting FB. :lol: I'll miss ya'll until I get it though! I know I may be posting this early, but might not have time later.. and plus I want to talk about it because I am so completly excited and hopefully it will help pass the time!

Anyway, our apartments pay the gas, water and garbage bills so that will help us out a lot! :dancing: Ya'll have to help me count down the days. :lol: I have questions.. what do I need for the place? Groceries, medicines, cleaning stuff.. etc! heh.

Oh yes. :) We found a washer and dryer at his work for $300.
They are used but in perfect condition.. and they look new too.
They are going to hold it for us until we can get the money.
That saves us alot of money because those are usually $1,000+!

An update.

Well, I found out bad news today, we are going to find another place instead of the apartment. They waited 2 freakin' weeks to tell us that they want $600 down, plus $185 and then the freakin' pet deposit, $850! They are insane! I am so UPSET! This makes me want to go slap the fk out of them all up there.

Thanks everyone. Everyone is telling us to just buy a mobile home.
We are going to shoot for that again and my father says he will try and co-sign! So hopefully it will come through this time. I hate Texas rules and crap.. it is so hard finding a place. When you do, something always happens and I hope that doesn't happen next time. It's so depressing, seriously, and embarrassing!! Atleast we have a paid off legal ride now.

I think I found something. I am really interested in this. Hopefully, I can talk Scott into this. It's right down the road from my parents, in the next neighborhood. It's $600 a month, just like the one bed apartment we were going to get! This is a duplex and has two bedrooms and one bath and a HUGE fenced backyard! We need to find out more info though, about down payment and the dogs.

So, we are going to check into a mobile home, this Saturday.
It would be $700 for first month's rent and that's it. It will take us two weeks to get that but sooner if we borrow from someone.. I know we will only have to borrow about $350.00 though. *Crosses fingers and prays* I hope this is the one! It's very nice and in the city where we want to move and close to Scott's work! It would be so perfect! Annnnd there is three jobs hiring for me close right down the street from the place.

Well, we thought it beat a one bedroom apartment for the same price.
The front bedroom will be the computer room, although I will not have the internet for a while.. but that's what that room will be. Btw, my parents are keeping the net ;) here.. so when I come over, I can say hi to you all. :D
Anyway, the middle room will be the guest room, and the room in the back, will be ours of course.

About the stairs, they are getting us some, so they will be there when we move in, but we will eventually get us a porch. :)


About the babies lol, that won't be for awhile. I'm not ready for that. :lol:

Well, here at my parents we were paying $300 a month and then saving the rest. That's all we had, well plus car insurance and credit card bill. The credit card bill is now taken care of. :dancing: So now when we move, we will have lots more bills but that is okay because he makes enough and I'm going to be working soon. Plus side though, we found out our water bill is included with our rent. :happy:

I am so sad.. but Scott and I are trying to find a cheap internet and phone service. But if not, I'll just go to a library I guess. She said that won't be for awhile.. .maybe a month or two? Well, we aren't sure yet.. but I'll try and let everyone know.. if not, I will miss you all. Ask Shawna or Bella if you want my mail but only if you don't see me online for a couple of months... I need people's addresses!!

I thought this was straightened out and everything but they just can't really afford it either... but atleast it will be here for awhile longer. Hopefully, they will change their minds and keep it..
