Your Favorite Episode(s)

Hey, so I figured since not a lot of people have been posting here lately that I would add a new thread to get things up to speed. As you can probably already see, the question is what is/are your favorite episode(s) of Everwood and why? I know it is probably hard to choose between all 4 seasons and 89 episodes, but you can always add another favorite and explain why...the idea is to keep things going on this forum. We can do it, you guys!!

ONE of my favorite episodes (and I'll add MANY MANY more if people keep posting): The Pilot, because it was written by Greg Berlanti (just about the most incredible writer on this planet) and marked the beginning to a wonderful show that without it, I would be completely lost. Thank you Greg and Everwood for an amazing four years.

My favourite episode is Season 2 Your Future Awaits. Just because I am completely Ephramy crazy I love how they both finally lay it all out on the table. They finally say everything that they've been holding back from each other. And as we all know it all works out in the end.

My second favourite episode is Goodbye Love. Just a beautiful beautiful episode overall. Absolute perfection.

My third is Staking Claim. Amy being her classic crazy self. And the sweetest Ephramy moment ever.

I'm done for now. But there are so many more… :)

lol that's cool that at least one person responded to this thread.

Another one of my favorites: Goodbye, Love is probably definately on my top ten. It was absolute perfection as Youremyone has already stated. The acting and writing were just superb. The effect that Irv had on everybody in that town is just amazing and the way each character deals seperately with his death really brings to life the connection and bond of this little town. It was also I think (Greg Berlanti said this in an interview once) that it was such an important episode in the series because it takes us all out the same way it brought us in (like Julia died in the pilot and then another character dies in the end). That's what I mean. I hope it makes sense.

That was an incredible episode. Another one of my favorites is "Blind Faith."

Oooh yeah, love the Ephramy in that and the bit with Madison was pretty good, although I hated their whole relationship thing… or at least I hated her. :down: Ephram deserved better.

Another favourite is The Reflex, no one's mentioned that yet. Once again all about the Ephramy. I just love how it showed the solidarity of their relationship. If only we could all have boyfriends like Ephram… *sigh*

Its funny... my favs are the opening and closing episodes of the series.
Pilot- Ephram and Andy's fight--rings so true-father son everywhere relate.
Foreverwood-Amy epiphany/dream sequence- Andy speech to Julia- pulls at the heart strings.

Youremyone: I sort of liked Madison as a character. lol she was pretty cool but that's just my opinion. I also liked her because I felt that she was a vital character in Ephram's life and he needed her to grow, etc.

And yes, The Reflex is a wonderful episode for all of the reasons you have stated.

Another on my favorite episodes was Staking Claim from the third season because it was the episode of Ephramy's first "I love you" to each other. The silence between them...the calmness during the entire scene is just so magnificent and passionate. lol I cannot even explain what it is I want to say. lmao...yeah...that's the best I can do...
