I thought he was completely adorable, in an I'm-kinda-screwed-up way.
From the pilot you could instantly tell how important he is to Serena. (The same was in the books, but he was older than her, not younger)

I wonder why he tried to kill himself? I think that took balls to go there since he's such a young character. I'm kind of surprised the network let them do that.

I agree.. it took some guts to write a storyline like that. But I really like it. Gives it so much more depth. I was like 'Whoa' when they mentioned the suicide attempt..

Yeah, definitely. I'm sure there's more to it, but I think she definitely plays a role. I felt so bad for him when Serena wanted to take him out for breakfast and the mother said no.. :(

I thought it was really sad when Lily said he tried to kill himself because he was so lonely. I wonder if he didn't have any friends at ALL or he was popular but he didn't have any "real" friends...if that makes sense? But I think Lily wouldn't have said he was a lonely boy if he was popular, so I'm leaning towards none at all. I wonder why?

Although I do wonder if she just thinks that's why he tried to kill himself and he really had something else going on that she doesn't know about...

Where is his dad during all this?

I think Jenny will be good for him as long as she remembers who she is and doesn't get swept up in all the drama.

How about at least a mention or text to Jenny. That at least is a nod.

I hate when they dont at least mention him for 15 seconds in a episode.
