The last book I read was this teen novel called Friction.
It's a really good book if you're about thirteen, but I was just way too mature to be reading it in the first place. It's really entertaining, though.

^^
Such a fantastic, deep novel. It was startling!
The last book I finished was
"In The Lake Of The Woods" by Tim O' Brien.
Interesting...
I liked the way the book was split up into different 'sections', if you could call them that.
Story revolves around John Wade, political candidate, Vietnam War veteran and magician. One day his wife Kathy goes missing and we are then drawn into his past and present, finding out just how involved in the war he was, and how it made such a big impact on his life.
I didn't really like the ending- I would have like something more definite.

Very sad book, that one. It's currently being made into a film, starring Cameron Diaz. Problem is, the film is nothing like the book, and apparently, the director of the film is intent on changing the ending - having read the book, can you imagine?
