I have five of Kathy's novels, and have so far read three of them.
I find them interesting, but at the same time, hard to read, because of all the French - Canadian words/references. I am not sure if anyone else has this problem, but I believe I would enjoy the novels more if there were not so many foreign words...:hatecomp2

Umm, they are a lot different from the book, but you will definitely not hate the show. The show is so much better in my opinion, its a bit different, not only how the characters are but the storylines.. So yeah you will still love the show :)
