- Actress Rachel Bilson and boyfriend Hayden Christensen checked into Casa Casuarina on Thursday night. According to our snitch, ''They had a romantic night that was planned by Bilson, where the couple stayed in the mansion's $4,000-a-night Safari suite.'' Our spy saw the couple check out early Friday morning. Later that day Blake Lively, star of CW hit show Gossip Girl checked in. Lively was in town for the weekend to shoot the cover of Teen Vogue.

Blake Lively Tries to Avoid the Hollywood 'Nonsense' (http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20165288,00.html)

Blake Lively says she's not much like her Gossip Girl character, the socialite-in-training Serena van der Woodsen, except in one respect – she wants to be a good person amid all the drama of her situation.

"I think that I strive to do the right thing and not fall into the norm [like] so many young people in Hollywood who ... get caught up in some of the nonsense," the 20-year-old actress tells the Associated Press. "I really try to steer clear of that. So, you know, we're like that in the same way."

There may be a couple of other similarities, too. "We both giggle a lot. We look alike," she adds.

Staying grounded is important now that Lively is beginning to get recognized on the streets – and not just by the stereotypical Gossip Girl demographic.

"One day these, like, thuggish guys were, like, coming out, rolling out of their Escalade, and they go – they're like, 'Man, that's Gossip Girl!' " Lively says. "And they were, like, freaking out. It was so strange how many people would just get giddy over it. And it's people that you would not expect at all."

Some people even know her name, not just the character's – "[everyone] from young girls, teenage girls, women in their 30s and 40s to, like, Guido-type guys, like frat boys."

Still, though she's quite becoming a star, Lively shares one particular passion with seemingly every other young person in America: She's a "Guitar Hero" fanatic – so much so that the Gossip Girl writers had Serena play the video game on the show.

"The reason they wrote it in was because I'm such an amazing 'Guitar Hero' player," Lively says. "I saw clips of it. It doesn't really debut my skills so well, which I was very disappointed about."
