Uncle Cooper (Michael Trucco) in Car Accident
Michael was in a serious car accident on Sunday. Although he suffered a broken neck, I'm tremendously relieved to be able to report that he's expected to make a full recovery ... in fact, he came home from the hospital yesterday!
Michael was a passenger in a Ferrari that overturned after the driver lost control on a curve and went down an embankment as they were coming home from a Ferrari event. The driver walked away unharmed, but the roof had crumpled on the car and fractured four of Michael's vertebrae. Amazingly enough, he was able to crawl from the wreckage on his own, make a series of phone calls and generally direct the rescue efforts (okay, I'm exaggerating on that last one). He was flown by helicopter to UCLA Medical Center, where he was placed in traction, and surgery was performed on Monday to fuse his C-6 and C-7 vertebrae to his C-5.

Yeah I know it was surprising, and especially the whole neck breaking thing was really crazy, glad hes okay though cause breaking your neck is poretty serious .. :lol:

CW’s comedies also will be back on the air with originals by mid-March, while the dramas will return with fresh episodes in April.

The network is requesting five or six episodes each of “Smallville,” “One Tree Hill,” “Supernatural” and freshmen “Gossip Girl” and “Reaper.” (”Gossip” had received a back-nine order, while “Reaper” hadn’t). As for “Life Is Wild,” the network is not planning to request any more episodes, and the freshman show is not expected to return for a second season.

The CW just released an official announcement that One Tree Hill, Gossip Girl and America's Next Top Model have been picked up for next season. Yes, we will see all these shows in the fall, including a six season for OTH! Stand by for more details...

"Gossip Girl," "One Tree Hill," "Smallville," "Supernatural," "Everybody Hates Chris" And "America's Next Top Model" To Return Next Season

March 03, 2008 (Burbank, California) - The CW announced early pickups of six series today, including the network's signature reality hit, AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL, four dramas and one comedy. All six series will return for the fall season.

The network's most popular series, AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL will return with mega-star Tyra Banks for cycles 11 and 12. Returning dramas include the buzz-worthy freshman hit GOSSIP GIRL and ONE TREE HILL, returning for a sixth season. These three series are the top-ranked shows on television with a concentration of women 18-34 viewers.

Also renewed were the long-running Thursday night team of SMALLVILLE, which will begin its eighth season, and SUPERNATURAL, which will begin its fourth season. In addition, the critically acclaimed comedy EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS will return for season four.

I wasn't sure how the skipping ahead 4 years of college was going to work and if would be a good idea or not. I think they did a really good job and the flashbacks helped fill the gaps. I really am liking S5.

New Episodes of Freshman Hit GOSSIP GIRL Return on Monday, April 21, Paired with Originals of ONE TREE HILL, Creating New Night of Drama for The CW

March 4, 2008 (Burbank, CA) - The CW Network has set its new midseason schedule, featuring brand new episodes of its scripted series and several strategic moves to bolster new nights and new time periods.

New episodes of freshman sensation GOSSIP GIRL return to The CW schedule beginning Monday, April 21 (8:00-9:00p.m. ET). On April 7, ONE TREE HILL moves to its new night and time on Mondays (9:00-10:00p.m. ET), following GOSSIP GIRL and creating a powerful night of drama for The CW.

With ONE TREE HILL moving to Mondays in April, the climactic final original episodes of PUSSYCAT DOLLS PRESENTS: GIRLICIOUS will air on Wednesdays starting April 9 (9:00-10:00p.m. ET), following AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL.

Through the month of March, original episodes of The CW's REAPER will follow all-new episodes of SMALLVILLE. On March 25, REAPER returns to Tuesdays (9:00-10:00p.m. ET) following the newest edition of The CW's hit reality series BEAUTY AND THE GEEK, which premieres March 11 (8:00-9:00p.m. ET).

the only good thing about the move is that existing fans will generally move with their show, but having GG precede us should bring in new fans - and new fans mean money and extended seasons so that's YAY!

^ Tell me about it. I actually like the move. Well, sort of because I'm forgetting about Heroes, etc. But as of now, I'm satisfied because I can watch Big Brother now and have Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill in one day. What a happy day for me! And I think the ratings will go through the roof with these two in one day.
