cause seth and summer broke up and so did ryan and sadie

really would have been fitting had it happened like that, i see it happening like this:- ryan would be by himself at the pier after the break up with sadie, summer comes by and sees ryan really upset about the split with sadie, so she goes and comforts him then who knows where it would have gone???

and she starts to cry saying she misses marissa
and then he hugs.....

they both miss Marissa, her best friend and the woman he loved most of all in the world both grieving in their own way which doesn't really work as they don't have anybody's shoulder to cry on and nothing to fall back on

hugging and grieving together about the loss of their friend is sad but thats all they can do you know.

I know the hug would have been ideal but the kiss ITA would have been perfect and probably would have thrown a spanner into the works in newport couple wise, cause Marissa and Seth would find out eventually, but on the other hand Summer would tell seth that its over between as for Marissa she would most likely want to get back together with Luke and Seth would be wanting another chance with Anna, so it wouldn't be all that bad
