I liked the whole element of the fact that Hurley was deeply affected by Charlie's death, im pretty sure desmond did to, but hurley seemed to show it more and i think thats important. It gave us a bit about hurley's character to.

Yeah Desmond was on the beach for a while. I don't think they blew up Claire's tent either. It must have been Sun's, Kate's and the 3rd one I have no clue. But I was afraid because of the shooting and all, that the ring could have fallen on the ground. I hope not. Arghh but Desmond needs to go FIND Claire and give the letter to her. After all if she's with Locke then it's unlikely that they'll go back to the beach anytime soon.

Yeah it would be heartbreaking. But I'd like to believe that the Losties will remember Charlie after they get back, especially Claire. And peanut butter is their thing :ah:

But I totally agree with you. I expected a little more sadness from Claire. She was really worried with Charlie, and then when she found out about him she cried a little. But in the episodes after that she seemed really normal, and not really mournful. :shrugs:

Even if they dont bring charlie back Im glad with how they made it happen, because from the beginning charlie was a good guy, he overcome his drug addiction and he always wanted to protect claire, he was the only one who treated her like a real person when she was pregnant. Yeah Michelle I don't understand how he managed to swim down to the underwater station. I don't know how not knowing how to swim works :lol:, but maybe since he knew he was going to die he wasn't afraid anymore. Because people usually drown because they panic and breathe water, and not because they can't swim. I don't know if that makes any sense :lol:

But remember in the flashback his dad did teach him how to swim he just needed some encouragement. I think its more to do with fear of drowning than fear of water, so charlie knew he had to do it, in his mind, so overcome that.

Yeah Michelle, that sucks :( I'm just glad that he died for a good cause and that he was so brave to sacrifice himself for the rescue of his friends.

But I think with Lost it'll only be a matter of time for everyone to lose their favorite character. With most shows only a smaller part of the fans have to go through that, but in Lost so many characters die, so most fans end up losing their favorites. And until the end of season 6 I'm guessing we'll lose a lot more people :crying:

the only thing is i can't see them killing off certain characters, excluding the six..i can't see them killing off sawyer or juliet..they are a part of the rectangle of love..and that is like Darlton's baby....i also can't see them killing off Desmond bcuz they want the Penny/Des reunion...but it's like they take our fav characters and put them in the background to eventually die :( it'd really upsetting and if i wasn't so invested in the mystery of this show, i would have stopped watching the minute Charlie died

And I'm almost positive that no couple will have a happy ending. Mainly because the show tries to focus on the island and it's mystery. The couples are just a little treat for us while they last. And I think what they're trying to show with all the deaths (Charlie, Jin) is that the island is more powerful and it gets what it wants or something like that. So I won't be keeping my hopes up with any other couple.

I think that Claire staying on the island is a definite possibility. But not because she wanted to. Maybe she had to, was forced, trapped, or something else. After all there are pretty weird things going on there, and people like Ben and his people will always come up with brilliant ideas to keep people there. So maybe Claire had to stay and asked Kate to take Aaron.

I guess with Lost it's never good to be very optimistic. We've seen this happen with Boone/Shannon, then Libby died, then Charlie and now Jin. Unfortunately I think it's just a matter of time until Sawyer or Jack dies.
