I wonder how many people will have to get a new computer and all of that good stuff like we had to do on TS2.. ahh hope that isn't me lol.. had to get this one just to play TS2 :/ but I guess I'll have to just get it updated if that's the case. By then, I'll be moved and be able to afford that so yay. But my husband will be like *rolleyes* rofl.

I loved The Sims 1, but stopped playing The Sims 2 when University ran so slow. Looking forward to starting all over with Sims 3...I just hope they mix things up to keep it interesting.

I was well annoyed when they released the sims 2 because it felt like they were just trying to make more money, making people buy all over again but it was worth it as the sims 2 was a big improvement. Id be interested but we'll see if its worth it :)

I've been a huge fan of sims game since I was a kid. Sims two was a huge step up from sims 1, but it does do horrors to your computer's speed. I still have an expansion pack for 2 I haven't opened yet, open for business. I should probably play that first before looking at the new one. haha :) Probably will be awhile anyways since we don't even get info till the 19th of this month.

I still want like sim tower 2000 or something. :)

lol... I'll probably be 90 and playing the sims 25... when will enough be enough? Oh, thats right... they have to keep it 1 step behind technology or it will turn into another retro game instead of a dream world... ;-)

I was a big Sims fan, and even got into Sims 2 when I dated this one girl who loved it. The normal routine went this way: I'd spent about 2-3 weeks playing it several hours a day, usually building a house exactly the way I want, and then playing enough to move my characters up to halfway through their career. Then I'd just get burned out on it. I could never play it consistently for an extended period.

As for 3, I probably won't buy it since my computer (only a year old) is already slow enough.

Why can't we let the Sim people live their own lives? ;(

The greatest thing about this game is that its so addicting to just play someone else's life. I'm glad they changed up TSM3 a little bit.
